Kevin, I'm glad I found your video. My previous attempt at germinating kale came to nothing. I watered every day- too much? and kept them dark. So where they came from is of paramount importance right? and possibly a better medium and less water might do it. i've got so many greens to sprout since I found out about microgreens. So exciting. Is it okay to water by misting a 10×20 tray of kale microgreens that are exposed to sunlight or led lighting? Ive heard you can get mold?
Aren't scissors easier? And can you turn the roots back into the soil and allow them to be broken down and used as in composting?
It was for sure too dense cuz red Russian kale germinates super fast 2 to 3 days
So once harvested they won’t grow anymore greens?
