This is a fantastic way to grow potatoes using minimal effort whilst both building soil and creating an abundance of tubers. There have been many fantastic questions which I answer in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOuQI4OC0RM

My Grandmother & Great Grandmother used old tires stacked on top of each other along the back fence of their yard . They lived in town & had to paint the outside of them to keep city code enforcement off of their backs. Living in town & having a sm yard they were very resourceful. They had a compost pile that was yard clippings & leaves & they used that in the tire stack to grow their potatoes . I remember them doing this when I was in my early20s & that was over 40 yrs ago.
They think gardening is for plain boys…..the ones you struggle to look at twice. He is damn beautiful and farming handsomely!!!

Can you try and ‘resow and regrow’ the bad potatoes instead?
Potatoes can be grown in sacks filled with dirt. With slits cut here and their then you push the potatoes in and they grow through the slits then when tops of plants die just turn sack upside down and empty….
Put a foot of hay down in the fall. When ready to plant in the spring, pull aside just enough to plant, then cover whole bed with another layer of hay. Over the winter it will rot and feed the soil.
Call them what they are, "Taters"
I can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing.
How often do you water them?
Really noted that you love planting. All your videos are full of your knowledge. Thanks for sharing this material with us, it's like gold.
Wow so beautiful garden. Your video is very interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing.
One rotten potato will ruin the whole sack. My dad always said this on the farm.
ரொம்ப நல்லா இருக்கிறது
I'm wondering if you can leave them there longer? In other words, could you"store" them in the ground? Would something bad happen to them?
You need more cover obviously. Not a whole lot, they did o.k., very nice crop, but there was more green there than there should be. You might want to put something more on top. That, is a result of light and chlorophyll. Potatoes on hills are especially prone to greening and toxic solanine poisoning for this reason.
There's a lot of green in that harvest
Will be doing this
I think this will only work well for determinate (early) and not for indeterminate (late) potatoes.
FCF. FCFF ç f fffff for cuff ffffcfffff fc.
What's the definition of "Digging" i wonder.
Can potatoes be planted in winter (i.e – Oct- Nov)?
use a sprinkling of Lime to preserve them after spreading out i winter, cover with old quilts in winter.
Notice how every youtuber … shakes their hands and arms around while talking? Like "HEY!!! LOOK AT ME!!"
Great job and thankyou, keep being a blessing and be blessed
We’re doing that 50 years ago. First time mail ordered . Were wonderful! Gained 10 lbs that summer. After that we used grocery store potatoes. Worked fine. Do not know if that would still work. Grocery store potatoes don’t seem to sprout. What has been done to them?
PLEASE SPELL OUT THE VARIETY OF POTATOES HONEY
