That ground beef dish kinda looks like goulash. yummy
love the way u think and do things
I just started watching your food challenge series again! I really enjoyed these videos! I know it was really hard but you learned so much as we did as well!
wonder how they cooked pot roast, or other slow cooked meals…
I would make soups, lots and lots of soup, lol.
Do you dehydrate any foods? Oh and I've never heard of canning bacon/beef or any meats. Just curing it with salt in a smoke house. Where can I find how you do that?
Patara, have you tried okra chopped into about 3/4 inches and dredged in flour and cornmeal? Excellent…crispy. The goo is gone and the taste is great.
I have cast iron and the steel carbon, I use the steel carbon daily now it’s my favorite. I love watching you and learning from you. Ow if you could lone me energy hahaha thank you for what you do.
Love the carbon steel it one-off my favorite s
That looks great! The phrase, "Use the brain God gave you" is something my Grandmother used to say. I still say it even though it "offends" snowflakes to no end.
Pretty new to your channel and I loved watching the 1st day of the FSC! What a great idea to educate people who don't know much about country ways and aren't sure about what to store and how/when to use it. Just day one seemed like a lot of work so for those people who think having a Youtube channel is easy – nuh uh. You have to be the writer, director, star, videographer, film editor and commentator. Very nicely done Patara.
I grew up with those plates!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️
2 years ago but I am joining this challene now. Got to save
I am going to start a no spend year. Going to be hard. only 20 a week for food other food need to use what I have in the house. Only thing I can spend on is the 4 walls
How is this storage? More like wood stove cooking challenge. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for all you do & share with us!
That's yummy
Can you please tell me about this wood cookstove?
Salsa recipe please
Love watching your video's…so interesting and I love the down to earth feel / way of your lifestyle…wish I was there!!! Also, if no one has ever told you…I have to compliment you on your beautiful smile…my gosh your teeth are so beautiful ..straight and so intensely white!
Really loved that challenge! Rewatching it again 🙂
Going back and watching all of your older vids! Blessings Loved the video, I grew up cooking on a wood stove. I still love to cut wood with an ax and split kindlin. I wish I could write a book about my life, I was actually born in a barn, cause that's where Mama and Daddy started out! It would be a very long book because my story still goes on, grandbaby # 19 is now 11 weeks old! I'm sure Blessed!
I absolutely love this series of videos. I have learned so much from you. I hope your bring this series back!!
It was fun watching this series again!
This is how I cook year.round but I only have coffee or tea in the morning and my only meal of the day is in the evening
I love having hamburger canned up! I’m like what you did with the eggs and green peppers. Im going to try that while I still have some fresh ones left.
🙂
Don't know if you all have a smoke house yet, but we made one out of a old freezer that quit working. Drilled a hole in the bottom, put a stove pipe through the hole and lit a fire in a old grill. works wonderful.
