  1. Our daughter showed us your tik tok and then looked up your YouTube. Thank you for making this video. We need to test our soil before putting in raised beds if we don't have to.

  2. Your Jar method test is not as accurate as you think – the jar should be uniform – your one isn't. You've copied this from somewhere else and not done a very good job of it.

  3. looks like standard San Diego dirt i find in everyone's yard . . . but am confused. i know when rubbed wet like that it's gritty, but it does form plopping clumps like that. Sandy and clay? i get so confused with our dirt here; it's loose and dusty on top, then solid (as you demonstrated) underneath so you need a pick-ax to dig down.
