The apples look great!
I just did an LDS order last night. I've never tried the apples, but will on my next order.
Great job on the chicken! I was wondering how you stored the apples after you opened them. Thanks for adding that info. I love your videos.
Have been cooking outdoors right along with you and the kids LOVE IT! They keep saying 'can we cook out again like Patara?". Thank you for the inspiration, now we are looking forward to cooking on our new indoor woodstove this fall!
Looks delicious! Do you store powdered butter? If so then how does it taste and reconstitute?
Looks very good my family would eat that. Mi have a cannery by me I'll have to stock up on some apples.
that looks so good! my daughter watched it with me and said you were making chicken in a blanket! lol
Yum
I would love to see how you make your drunk turkey! I've made beer butt chicken and it's always good and juicy. How does your gravy taste using the drippings? Are you going to show us your journey or at least talk about your journey when you do start learning how to butcher your own chickens? Are you going to set up a separate area for your meat birds to grow so you don't fall as in love with them as your other chickens? I know you love your girls. I know it'll be hard but that's part of farm life and survival in a crisis. Thanks for the video!
hmmm.. never put wine in poultry.. we process all of our poultry so going to have to try it some day. Love new ideas, Thank you for another great lesson. Take Care.. ((hugs & smiles))
My mom told me a story that my PaPaw growing up in Louisiana with his 13 siblings….one time he and his sister rung a chickens neck then laced the neck thru the fence and went and told their mom she needed to come see a chicken had caught its neck in the fence and died!! They did this cause they wanted fried chicken but it wasn't Sunday (the only day they ate meat) lol!!! He's 96 now!
Bacon with chicken!! drool drool drool! Lord have mercy that looks delicious!!
Thanks for the advice on always having backups. The apples look really yummy. I was happy to learn how to cook a whole chicken on a fire-.
It was worth the wait! I love the dried apple idea, will be checking out that cannery.
You could also use expired food for animal feed too ๐
I really want to cook a chicken in my Dutch Oven now but I need to buy a lid. I inherited mine without a lid.
Looks delicious
Everything looks delicious! What are you going to do with the rest of those apples?
Love, love my apples from lds. We use them for snacking.
My daughter loves mac n cheese lately too. The apple and their potato buds are the best!
I can't wait to hear about your drunken turkey!!!!!!
Love these, dear lady. You are nothing but honest and real. Love it. ๐
The apples looked very scrumptious.
I forgot to ask you about snakes. Do you have a problem with snakes eating your chicken and duck eggs? Thanks for all your videos.
Loretta
I love cooking chicken like that.
dehydrated apples…. never knew they were packed like that!
Mmmm bacon.
I'm so glad you benefit from our church food storage! They have some good deals! Great video, thanks ๐
I did not know the LDS had a cannary! I'm gonna have to look into that. just goes to show, you learn something New everyday!
Yep, totally agree!! Last 2 months I bought a cheap tequilla for my pantry. First aid if needed and if nothing else, a barter item.
