  1. -51 for a few days 2 years ago as well as being mowed over a couple times by the inlaws that didn't know it was there and then -48 was the coldest this year and they lroduce heavily… its extreamly forgiving and honestly I think it enjoys the abuse haha

  2. We grow rhubarb in southern Finland, and the winters get really cold here. We have no problems with the root, even after a really cold winter. We also can eat the stems that go from red to green, no sickness or problems. Every stem on our rhubarb has green and it's okay to eat.

  3. We have Rhubarb in our backyard that we completely ignore. Never water, never fertilize, etc. It was just here when we moved in. The thing gets MASSIVE and produces so much that we need to give some away every year. We also live in Ottawa where it easily gets -25 Celsius to +30 Celsius. It's a goddamn terminator…On many occasions I've wanted to give it fertilizer/water but I know as soon as I start messing with it it will die on me lol

  4. Save the last crop leaves for the winter cover the plant with them.
First it protects from the cold second as they rot down they feed the plant with all they need.

  5. Can you go over diseases and pests for rhubarb? I’m noticing holes in the leaves and small grey/black dots on the underside
