how often do you need to shapren you tools
Is there another knife you would reccomend for greens and Microgreens harvesting that is more affordable atleast to start with. I have invested lots of money in infrastructure and am saving for a walk in cooler but im on a very limited budget as I am a stay at home dad.they are only 1 and 3 years old so watching them and trying farm is a task in itself but that's another story. love videos already read your book twice just getting the last of the infrastructure going and ill be crushing it. And i tell ya I've watched alot of YouTube and you have made the biggest impact on me regarding what I love to do. Thanks
I didn't have the money for such a fancy sharpener so I duct taped some sandpaper to my wheelbarrow tire and had my daughter push it while I ran beside it sharpening my katana. I ended up puncturing my tire and cutting my other leg. Cannot recommend.
Yeah definitely more versatile than the Wicked Edge I mentioned earlier which is only suitable for knifes.
I use a small fixed belt grinder for sharpening my machete but that already runs a bit to fast to be putting a thin kitchen knife against and risk heating the edge too much and ruining the temper.
This seems to run at a good speed.
Which grit of belt have you got on there 320 or 400?
Available in Australia as a 240 volt option, bought it for my greens harvester and stirrup hoes, and add a added bonus it's the best sharpener I have used for kitchen knives.
