I’m back from a 16-day Asian adventure and it’s time to check out the vegetable patch and see how it faired whilst we were away!

You look very invigorated Mark 🙂
😀 I predict a bumper crop of weed tomatoes looking at all the fallen fruit.
Cheers mate.
Welcome back Mark looking forward to seeing more of you. coming into the best time of the year.
I'm glad to hear about your educational holiday. Glad you are back!

Welcome home – you were missed!
welcome back
Plenty of work to do Mark . But looking good.
sounds like the holiday was just the thing you needed (for your relationship as well as your YouTube etc). Sometimes, we push ourselves hard physically and mentally we end up at a crisis point (I do that all the time, dragging the chain when I should be focusing on painting for uni) something happens, things change, and you're on your way again. Glad to see you so invigorated and excited. If you get to that point again, have a break. Maybe going OS (if possible) can be a part of your learning experience, you YouTube/web presence, that you can pass on to us. I've never had a lot of interest in Asia (been to Bangkok and Singapore briefly) so you may spark an interest for me and others. Can't wait to see what's coming 🙂
So happy to see you back! Sounds like a great time you must have had over in some other countries! Oh, I changed my YouTube name. My old name was Lulu Barretta if you remember me. I think this name describes me better. Homesteading is the future for me where I see my life heading. The cute boy in the picture is my youngest 🙂
Glad you had a great holiday. Glad to see you are back. 🙂
I think the garden faired real well considering your were away for 16 days.. you look much more chilled and ready to get stuck in.. Nice mate
welcome back friend
I can hear in your voice your excitement of what you have in store for your channel. You needed this holiday because you sounded refreshed. Good to see you feel wonderful my friend. Now, back to yard work, tons of work to do LOL. btw, how's the mangoes coming along, any ripe yet?
Great to see you so excited looking forward to the hints and tricks you got from the holiday. Thinking one day better do it.
What method do you use to space your plants?
Don't you wish everything would grow as great as weeds, LOL! I don't know if you use those dill flower heads, but they work great in pickling! I would rather use them instead of the weed! Good to see you back, Mark!
Weeds are not all bad, they assist in moisture retention. Clover in the lawns fixes nitrogen and helps the bees. A high cut with the mower also helps with moisture retention.
Wow that patch looks quite green despite coming back from your vacation. Happy growing season to you mate 🙂
The yellow pumpkins of the video, is GMO? (Are genetically modified?) Eat or are decorative; Thanks.
New video for me, new subscriber. I’m glad to know you had a good holiday with your wife. Maybe I can learn some Asian cuisine from you, I’ll check out your playlist. Your wife has an awesome husband!
No worries mate , old vid , seen the future vids already and iT looks great , doing a great job true the years , thx for all .
I love these videos, it is really refreshing hearing you talk about gardening. I know the video is few years old, just commenting for Youtube algorithm and letting you know that we still watch your old videos to see your progress. 🙂 Keep it up
your mad leaving all that veg unprotected esp with all those trees around must been tons or birds rubbing their wings watching you drive away on holiday
When I miss a squash or a zucchini and they grow to mammoth proportions I usually make fritters out of them. Use a coarse hand grater and mix in breadcrumbs, butter, and a few other things, and use eggs as a binder. Nothing like a good zucchini fritter with ketchup.
Or I guess dead horse? Is that right?
awesome
Fantastic Mark welcome back !!!
Big squash pressure cooked 5 min let cool cut off the top and take out the seeds the mix canned salmon with fresh mayo and lemon pulp and fill your squash and pop into fridge until well chilled makes a great lunch !!!
