Can't wait to get my scythe sharpened. Could you share where you learned the technique to use it? I've seen a few online but they were using a one with a straight snath. Mine is curved, but looks different from yours… Not sure if the technique is different. It felt weird with a curved snath.
I would recommend before using a scythe to cover your hands thoroughly with a handcream, then to put on some thin latex gloves and finally working gloves. This precaution will protect your hands from raising painful blisters just after the first strikes of scythe.
