VIDEO: GGC – 69 – Attempting to Build and Use a Cheap Homemade Leaf Bagger (For Garden Mulch)

I use high lift blades. They really give a lot of volume over regular lift blades. Blades from the factory are only good enough to throw clippings out the side of machine. Oregon makes good after market products.
To much yabbering, not enough building.
make a box on your trailer
Holy shit! Get to the point!
To do science you're need a falsifiable hypotheses.
I am giggling while watching but it's because I am wondering what my neighbors will be saying when I am using this in my yard. I love fitting and retrofitting things to work in or on things other than the intended activity—-duct work–for side discharge chute. Great video, funny
Ya ok. Nice Red Green reference BUT….a little less talk and a lot more action..lol
It seems to me that there is a leaf collector made like a covered wagon that catches grass and leaf waste. Just be sure the air has an escape .
OK, I'm just now seeing this. At least you are persistent. You are such a cute couple. I've really been enjoying your vlogs.
Not sure if I’ve left a comment on your page yet or not but I love you and your wife’s channel! Y’all do such a great job at explaining and teaching, plus you’re entertaining. Thanks for sharing your scientific adventures!
This coulda been a hell of a lot shorter, to each their own
Good start, lots of really good ideas, thanks for sharing
hang it from the underside to reduce the angle even more and make the tarp entrance do the same thing
You have a huge forest, if you need more leaves just bag not only the trail, bag 10-15ft outside the trail. Nice looking trail, if you bagged extra leaves on each side of the trail it would look even more professionally maintained, as well you get plenty of leaves. Just go thru and use a sickle or an axe on the tiny bushes and tiny trees within 10-15 ft of the trail, then it can be mowed and bagged. It would look better than the public park systems. lol
Your air flow is part of your problem.
Cover the holes in the middle of the tube, but leave small (3-4 inch) holes at the very end of the tube.
Get a 'mulching' blade to make the pieces of leaves smaller.
In my YARD, I run over the leaves with a mulching blade 3-4 times (side discharge) then pick up the smaller pieces with my bagger.
That way I can put 4-5 times as many leaves in my bagger.
Your scene "transitions" gave me a headache in first five minutes…
can i get a walk thru
buy a Cyclone rake. it does what you are trying to do.
The video started at 9:30 just skip to there.

See some other designs that seem to work!
I'd use a 12" pipe.
Haha, love the idea, but I wonder how many leaves you could have got with a rake and that pull behind on your mower if you had spent the day and a half or two you spent creating on just raking?
Not being critical, I do the same crap because it's fun!
Loved this!
8 inch PVC plastic pipe
Excellent video by the way.
U got such a big place but u look at 600 bucks how so?
Sorry dude. I really wanted to watch your video. But 5 minute mid-roll ads… one after another… just not worth it. Youtube has ruined its self. Too bad too. I got a few minutes in, got interested, and wanted to see the rest. But if you allow ads in your videos… this is what YT is doing these days.
13:13 video starts from here.
