I have missed you so much. Thank goodness that the YouTube search algorithm provided your video as a suggestion.
I have been busy trying to make a go of my own farm. It sure hasn't been easy. This past summer though, we were able to produce enough food for our own family to consume and I think that was a tremendous accomplishment. Plus we learned so much about life and farming.
I promise I will never leave you again. Thank you for all your hard work.

Albeit short, great to see more of you and JM. did he say how he controls weeds in the hedges and near the ponds – I saw alot of wood chip mulch but also what looked the sort of problem you don't like – weeding. The whole idea looks brilliant. Please try and do some more videos soon, I can't wait 5 years for his next book ! thanks.

Thanks Curtis. When I see how much they are experimenting on this farm and since they call it a "research farm" I sure hope that they will share their results very soon and before the 5 years that Jean-Martin mentioned in the previous video. That would really be nice to have an annual update from them even if it's not through a book that synthesis everything (like short articles or videos). The measurement of phosphorous, nitrate and other compounds in that little pond is a genius idea and I'm really looking forward to the results just for that experiment.
That must be 20ft length of emt he's bending? That's nice to cover 2 beds together… we were staggering our single bed hoops to cover 2 beds but the difficulty is tying the covers down and plastic gathers rain if not very taught due to long flat top… love that idea and the arch in the center… keeper for next season! tks for sharing ;o)

Do you know the length of JMs conduit poles for his low tunnels, I know yours are 10 ft but JMs path spacings are wider than yours and his seem to be higher.

What is their primary irrigation method for the outdoor production? I saw some drip in the greenhouses and maybe a overhead spray nozzle or two outdoors? Great content as always. Keep making a difference!

I need more toads
I am trying to design layout of beds within 40'x100' space. As a newb I may be falling into a common pitfall in seeing walkways as lost growing space and trying to minimize them and maximize grow area. I was wondering if anyone has experimented and discovered what a minimal walkway width is? I am thinking of making beds 33" wide to accommodate bcs power harrow and only 7" between beds. Am I crazy? I know Curtis won't answer here but maybe someone else could chime in. Should I not try to reinvent the will here?
