Dry the leaves for soups
I just feel happy every episode I watch of this guy… pure joy and enthusiasm is beautiful
Good stuff
Mark, you are our go to man for our new vegetable garden, we are novices in Whitsundays, when do we plant carrots for our climate please? Thanks for everything you do!
Funny gardener…haha
Did this back in spring, Nantes carrots, growing good in tall raised bed. Thanks for video
You can cut the tops off with a small top part of the carrot attached and replant them and you get your carrot harvest, plus a heck of a lot of seeds from the replanted tops. Don't expect carrot root to regrow from the replanted tops because it will never happen, just be glad it provided you with carrot leafy to feed your pet rabbits and some free seeds. : )
What a service this beautiful soul provides
The seeds never left the mans pocket
Awesome ! Love the different coloured carrots. You could leave that one to go to seed and collect your own seeds for next year? I think you can eat carrot tops too ?
I've tried every way i know to grow carrots but they always grow in a circle sort of shape max 7cm in length I almost gave up! After watching your videos I've got so many carrots in the freezer that I've harvested i LOVE your videos. You've saved me during this covid Boredom Mark. God bless you@
How nice to watch you before those crazy plandemic times
229 thumbs down..why
I love to put the carrot greens in a broth with other nutritious veg scraps. They're very nutritious and blend in well. Then I compost the broth solids.
Fantastic,love your videos
We always eat the carrot greens(tops)! They're great in soups
Hi. What's going on there Mike, looks like you are melting like a icecream on a hot Summers day
Thank you for this awesome advice! Do you thin the plants out once germinated?
