  1. The VA admits to nothing, all they do is give you more meds, have you fill out paperwork, and then you will hear from them, have been waiting a year and half to find anything

  2. omg yes look into the gulf war syndrome. the effects of whatever chemicals they were exposed to altered DNA via chemical reaction, so thats a chemical change to an individuals bio-chemical make-up. Veterans were ignored for a long time in the medical community especially if care was sought thru the VA, even conventional medical training today, removes individual significant and diagnosis and move toward "well what works best for the group". the nature of chemical changes in science is that whatever the change its permanent and also very unique to an individual chemical make-up, thats why theres so many symptoms, far too many for conventional medical training and diagnosis. everyone of us is different but when outside factors affect our bodies each if us may have a different reaction. look up gene therapy for gulf war syndrome. i saw a fascinating documentary on it but sadly cannot remember the name. i was from the science channel or american heroes channel ( formerly the military channel ).

  3. CHECK YOUR WATER! The ever so small amounts of chlorine in your water over time causes several small scars that eventually cause the arteries and heart muscle to become less elastic. The war may have exposed him to other chemicals in his blood stream that cause the same thing. That would be my thoughts on the cardiomyopathy. When it comes to the heart attack, that is a matter of one of the nodes not firing at the right time. That could be age. But it can also be a side effect of the cardiomyopathy. I am not a doctor but I can operate and read an EKG/ECG machine. I have a bachelors in Exercise Science. I hope the best for you and your families health. Keep us posted. God Bless.

  4. I am glad James isn't any worse. Still praying that he will get better. Hard as it is to have a sick spouse; not being able to do things, that not that long ago, you could do without a problem, really sucks. The brain does not want to give up those things. We spend our whole lives trying to do more, then suddenly, we can't even do things we have been doing for years. Just doesn't seem fair. Hang in there James & listen to your wife. She isn't trying to be mean. She loves you very much & wants you to be around for the rest of her life. When you are most frustrated with her telling you what you should or shouldn't be doing, stop & give her a loving hug & tell her thank you for loving me. God bless your whole family [& homestead]. Piano playing at the end was fantastic. He is really good.

  5. wow, possible service related. So glad you've gotten some support in this area. We are a retired military family with a disability. This is just another reminder to stay connected to our V.A. and his doctors. Thanks! Good military spouse kick in the rear. Love it! Army Strong!

  6. you are easy to listen to and fun to watch. Everyone wants the diet you're on…the no sugar diet…you don't sugar coat anything, keep on with the simple plain truth! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and good news for James. Thank you for your help with the fire devastation that we have here. My better halfs brother and family are one of many who lost their home, very sad, thanking God for faith!

  7. I've lived where radiation was abnormal when I was in my twenties. My thyroid doesn't work properly at all because of it. Heart gets damaged if thyroid doesn't work right. The way I was taught to check my thyroid, is really simple. I take iodine(regular, not colorless), and smear some on to my wrists with my fingers. My fingers and my wrists are dark brown from it. If my thyroid completely sluggish, iodine disappears from my fingers in 5 to 10 minutes. Almost completely. If I were to try to wash iodine from my fingers, it is impossible to do so. But my body is so deficient in iodine, that it drinks it through the skin. I take kelp every day. Also I often drink tea from cilantro, it has an ability to rid body of heavy metals. I also can't eat kelp and spinach now that I'm almost 60 and not loosing any blood, because they have to much iron and I don't feel good when I eat them. I suspect that it's similar thing for men too. Heavy metals are damaging for the heart. In 33 years I've learned allot how to help myself to live with the exposure to radiation. And I strongly believe, that each person is unique and should learn for themselves how to fight for their health. May God be your guide.

  8. Wow… Awesome pianist.. you must be so proud of him.. anyway.. will keep yall in my prayers.. God bless you and your family.. kind of new to your channel.. just love your videos, your passion for what your doing… and your complete honesty and bluntness (if thats a word) 🙂 take care…

  9. God bless, Miss P. I will keep James in my prayers-as well as you and the boys. I've been on the other end of a spouses's illness, and it is emotionally, physically and spiritually exhausting. I didn't have nearly as much to deal with as you-there is a lot of weight on those tiny little shoulders of yours. You seem to be made of grit, and seem like you are great at juggling and making necessary spur of the moment decisions. But it's hard. Just want you to know this community loves you and is pulling for you girl! While you are taking care of everybody else, don't forget to take care of Patara.

  10. My Dad flew on the planes that dropped Agent Orange in the Vietnam War. He was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in his 40's. The VA determined it was caused by the Agent Orange. He passed in March of 2019. He lived 10 years after his quadruple bypass. He also had Agent Orange induced diabetes, kidney stones, and skin cancers. I am his only child and was born with 5 very rare genetic disorders. But, it took so long to diagnose me that the VA is no longer helpful. They only treat kids 18 and under for birth defects related to military service. People in general don't realize the full sacrifice military men, women and their children make for our freedom. God bless and heal James. ♡
