That is awesome you got what you wanted. I have the Potbelly Okra from her too. You do have to start it early in a pot. It will produce well in heat. It will not start well seeded in the ground in my area. Sorry to hear about the guy.
I've had a Ka-bar something like that for about 35 years now. Still have the original sheath but the snap broke and I put a leather shoe lace to hold it in place. It's not stainless, but it sharpens easy and holds an edge. I don't use it that much though. Mainly I use my Swiss army farmer. I only take it camping or hunting.
That is disturbing to say the least. I am very careful with my identity in all social media because of the mentally unstable people out there. I don't publish any personal information on Youtube, On Facebook I have two accounts. One account where key information is left out or slightly altered so that I cannot be identified (by any layman that is). That account I use to interact with people I only know "virtually". Then I have another account where I socialize with people I know in real life. Maybe sounds a bit paranoid but I do not want someone scaring the living daylight out of my kids when they are home by themselves because I happened to write something controversial on FB or Youtube. This really is the big problem with virtual communications, you usually pick up pretty fast in real life if someone you are talking to is a bit "strange", but on the Internet you just don't have any idea who you are dealing with.
I might try to grow Okra this year. I love them as a vegetable. Threat are not nice no mater how slim they may be, Be well and enjoy yourself with you new toy.
Great Knife, Congrats!! I really like those Ka-Bars!! Death Treats!!! Wow!!! That did give me a laugh…sadly sounds like the joke is on him LOL!!!I really hope that those seeds do well for you. I would be very disappointed if they did not produce well. We had always had good luck with them. Take Care my Friend!!

As for your okra, definitely plant the seeds you were able to save (were you able to save some?) and baby those plants since they will be just a little better suited for your area. Grow more plants than you think you will need (if you have the area) and watch for which ones flower earlier in the season. Make sure to baby those and save lots from them! I'm sure you know all that but ah well.
I really need to get some things started. We have had a long cold snap here in WA, and I harvested a lot of things late, too. (Tubers mostly, they seem fine.) I got my hands on some Ashitaba seeds and for the first time I am trying my hand at cold stratifying. Never done that before! I also accidentally had some tomato seeds sprout as well as a couple nasturtiums. We will see what happens to those. (I had gathered the seeds and put them in a bag in my pocket, then forgot about them.)
A Ka-bar is not a knife, Jay. It´s a good knife. Hahaha! -Who and why would someone troll on your channel and make even death threats? Sounds pretty weird to me, though I also had trouble with people, of whom I even thought they were good friends. World´s getting crazier by the minute, my friend. Keep the Ka-bar close and don´t let anybody fool you. Also be careful carrying your new gift around. There are severe knife laws in Germany, as you most probably know already. All the best, amigo!
