That was really good advice. I had to laugh at the statement. You never have enough water. Last year was the first time I did not need umbrellas for my plants. But. I was lucky the way I plants kept them going with out with out water. Using a mulch or grass clippings is key to water retention and added nutrients.

I always set out things to catch rainwater and for a while had a set of gutters jury-rigged to funnel into a fifty-gallon barrel.
Your bang right with the water never can save enough. I think Rich hit the nail on the head.
