Hi Adam, I have noticed an absence during January of your video's and for me ,missed. Can only assume you have been busy on other projects. I agree with your choice but, my selection would have put the fork before the spade. Forks I have gone through probably six? my spade same one that I bought for our first garden when we got married. Prior to that I used Dads. I have mislaid it left it in the boot of the car, gone to the allotment with out it. Always managed with out it some how. Fork, withdrawal sets in, there is no substitute I have to go off site and get it, or buy a new one, straight away. borrow one. Thanks for a good video and take care Mike B

I have a True Temper shovel that I'd take over a fork and spade any day, the pointed head and long handle are a lot more efficient than having to bend over all the time.
Hi Adam, your spot on with the 5 tools most useful. We tend to use the smaller tools now our raised beds are up and running and the rake is the most used tool atm.

Good to see you back up and at it bud. Hmmm…I'd drop #5 for a hand spade. I plant lots of seedlings. You need to get them into the soil before you water them. Keep making them and I'll keep watching them. Thanx.

The 5 gardening tools I used when first getting the plot, shears, spade, fork, rake which came with the plot which was great and a trug to collect the weeds, find the fork very hand for digging up couch grass to get all the roots
Maybe it could be 5 gardening tools when you started to which 5 tools it would be now, I have a strimmer now which helps, still fork, rake, spade and a watering can – changes all the time

It is funny I use the same 4 tool you use!…you will not believe what I use to put my seedling into the ground..Kids plastic version of your first 3..we have 7 kids so I am doing alot of teaching, we use plastic tools…LOL.I weed my garden with my hand and by myself because kids still learning what is weeds and what is fruit and veggies!!! my husband is tall and use the same tool as your. I can't believe I never thought of using the top of a shovel to clean the mud off my shoes. Thanks for the tip. I always say that my top gardening tool is a little plastic bench. I find it is easier on my back to do a good percentage of my gardening sitting down. I never go out in the garden without it. Good to see you again, my friend.
Hey Adam, since I have raised beds I mainly used the rake, with a hand held towel and cultivator. … It's funny that once you get used to using a particular tool using anything else seems uncomfortable in the hand. Thanks for sharing yours.. T
