  1. That happen with some cannabis seeds I was germinating, nothing then likening a span of a few hours they all popped up, that was about a week ago they are going good now in the tent fully acclamated

  2. Maybe too damp, moist and warm.. seems like a good place for mold especially in closed containers.
I also would have rinsed them first.
Aaand NOT dump every single seed in! ^^ sry

  3. I've been following you for a while and just stumbled on these videos… you're a HUGE dork!…and I love it!!!
Idk how it all turns out, but… thanks for sharing, absolutely loving it!

  4. Super cool video! I just sent a friend a picture of a sprout from a seed that's NOT 87 years old. Lol. Also, Geneva is the cutest baby ever. As you can tell, I'm late to the garden party. Thanks so much taking us along on this experiment. I follow Jess at Roots and Refuge and she mentioned this. Now I know what she was talking about!

  5. You never sugar soak seed unless they are in 100% sterile environment, like tissue culture. Huge mistake and waste. In a non-sterile environment kelp is the way to go.

  6. Your excitement is totally infectous! Ok, so I am going to skip on over to the next one to see how the sprout is doing. This is indeed very exciting to bring back a lost heirloom. Awesome! Ne thinks I am going to have to start seeking out old seed stocks too.

  7. So after finding out about this a few days ago, I had to see where it all began. Wow!! To think that it started from a little root peeking out, and now today with a whole bunch of good folks getting ready to try it out in their own gardens next spring…this is just amazing!!

  8. This is by far my favorite video of yours. And maybe one of my favorite videos on YouTube. Way to go!! This is awesome!! Props to Next Level Gardening for giving you the shout out of this video and seeds.

  9. You have to help me. My great Aunt Ora collected and saved these seeds in 1918. Sealed cases wrapped in bag paper, kept in a chest in my dad's house. Some are garden seeds, there's a detailed growth record of the plants with locations in a botanical book she kept. I would love to restore some real native Prarie here.

  10. This is a little too late, but I think you should have calmed yourself down and kept your head on straight. The unsprouted seeds were worth trying to save to see if they would still grow. Just remove the ones with mold and put them on a clean towel and clean out the container. Whatever happened to the ones that did germinate?
