Ah, the beauty of your Homestead my dear buddy! Those beautiful fruit tree blossoms, the huge variety of bulb flowers, it would be so nice to have some beautiful tulips, but alas its too dang hot up here on the central plateau, the tulips they do ship here, during late december on thru mid february are so beautiful, but they virtually have to put ice in the pots or vases where they're kept! The only bulb flowers that do well are the hardy Iris, Amaryllis and Canna Lilies. Recent additions here are some so called dutch lilies and there's a beautiful, sweet smelling flower(well the flowers are bunched together on the stalk, in spanish they're 'nardos', I wonder what they're called in english.
