There's a man on YouTube who says that if you plant asparagus in the fall in the spring when you go to harvest it actually brings up the minerals from deep in the ground. And I figured that using your method plus his method wood really be productive for you.

My two daughters sent me photos of little signs of “life” poking up in their flower beds so I had to go take a picture of my rhubarb poking through !!!

  6. I planted a garlic clove about 3 years ago and forgot about it, lost it in the jungle of grow cover type of flower (that are already in place), stepped on it and snapped it a few times (my bad!)… Last week I found a good 10 cm of green coming out of a hard as cement ground!!! It now has a transparent plastic cover for freeze protection as well as stomping protection 🙂 Garlic is an amazing plant!
