Nice, makes a lot of sense. I'm torn between sheet mulching with horse manure, straw, cardboard, wood chips or now doing the hairy vetch. What do you do when you let it die, just leave it was mulch? What's next?

If you cut it and let it dry would that not become brown matter and create the fungal food?
