Luke I see you are putting mulch down did you put anything below it to stop the grass and weeds from growing?
in the lansing area we have got a lot of rain, it really set us back!!!
I had miserable luck with Tom Thumb peas. I saw a lot of comments from my seed source where they had exactly the same experience. Every plant got 4" to 5" high then started to bloom then died. I had one plant produce one pea then it died. Normally peas are pretty tough but this variety was a waste of time for me. I tried in multiple environments including a grow box where I do my seedlings where I have a lot of control over conditions and they all did the same thing where they start off healthy then suddenly die.
Is it just me or is that 3 feet?
I thought I would see peas 🙁 i see none
This is a variety I need as I grow in container on my 10 square foot patio.
I have looked at your website to see what seeds you have. There is no filter to find a specific type of seed example pea…list of all peas varieties carrots….list of all carrots. Do you have a pdf catalog or list of the seed varieties you have available with some info on each. Thanks for all of your informative videos!!

That sounds like my kind of plant 🙂

this isnt related to this video, but recently my tomato plants have been getting a slight yellow to their leaves and purple stems on the new grorth. it has been raining non stop and going down to 6c (43 f). do you think it is because of the weather? and if so, is it very bad or something that will get better if the weather gets better? fyi im using good soil

Could you please do a container episode with these peas? For a new gardener, this would be extremely helpful! 🙂 Thank you! You are great!
Your Amazon link doesn't work.
I ordered these peas last week and they are getting delivered today. I wanted to try them in partial shade…
You throw the seeds in the ground. We don’t know if it germinates or what. There is no follow up. What a waste of time
In our 2020 garden this Spring I'm going to try a heirloom shelling pea called Little Marvel by Lake Valley Seed Co. I bought the seeds at our local Costal Farm and Ranch store. Aprox 200 seeds for $2.79
With additional 25% off seed sale discount. Packrats cut down my bush bean plants and bell pepper plants while they were setting fruit. This year I'm going to grow them In high tunnel so the packrats can't get to them.
Will the peas grow on wooden lattice or a chain link fence?
Anybody try “Little Marvel” variety of dwarf pea
Can you pound me into the ground and stretch me out 😉
Does straw have to be rotted for core garden method
Live in Toronto, similar weather. Glad to watch all your videos. Just planted my peas
