How I use molasses for huge success in a high intensity organic garden. It is not too difficult to do and by applying about 1 cup per 10 square feet your garden will thrive and grow stronger than ever because of the microbes.

Luke, when you put the wood chips between the beds do you put anything like cardboard on the ground first?
I heard that you add one tablespoon to sixteen ounces of water and stir. When you water use that water.
Can I just use white sugar?
You know that molasses don't work right? Its the phosphorus and calcium in the molasses mix. Seriously look it up. FYI sugar in cattle feed ain't good either. Actually your feeding yeast and mold that attack the fruits buds and vegetables. Your wasting money. Their are cheap and easier methods of getting the little extra phosphorus and calcium.
Good job, Luke. Didn't know abut molasses. Thanks
Not true
I can't believe YouTube would run a roundup brand ad at the bottom of this video! Anyone who would use that poison would not being interested in the organic side of gardening!!! Great videos, New subscriber!! Cheers
If I planted lettuce so thick it would Get moldy. yours looks good.
Hello…question. Do you add molasses in the soil throughout your entire garden or just certain vegetables? Thank you very much for your time and input. V
Wouldn’t be there natural way s
for the bacteria to survive . Molasses can burn the leaves . I saw this with the left over mollases in the compost tea
So you are saying to use molasses? Your buddy patric oyr was saying he doesn't believe in molasses anymore. you guys should fight about it… epic rap battle of molasses
Can you eat that molasses?
Plants are capable of making there own sugars to feed the nematodes that in return feed the plants , there's no scientific evidence to back molasses in the garden
Beet pulp molasses is gmo and has high levels of glyphosate herbicide that kills soil bacteria.
Keep up the Good work sweetheart God's blessings to you and your family….much love
Do you ever spray molasses on your foliage? I've read that it can be a deterrent to certain pests. Would that make it a pesticide? We are going to sell at a market this year and we're advertising no pesticides. I want to spray molasses on the leaves, and want to make sure it's not considered a pesticide before I do.
So informative. Thanks tho.☺☺
What if you have a problem with light and mildew? Doesn’t the molasses feed the fungi, also?
Molasses is crack to the soil. Whoa!! Havent found a plant that dont love it.
I checked and is recommended to use molasses with 42% sugars instead of 38%. I will use the one you link to anyway as I can see the dried version will last longer and is actually better than the liquid version. I'm working with 72 square feet. Trying to teach myself self sufficiency so I can work with bigger land. About how often should I use dried molasses on the soil? Should it be on the soil or BURRIED in the soil for best results?
Can I put dried molasses to my yard with grass seed. I already have an established yard. I just overseeded.
How much and when should you add liquid molasses?
Does it attract unwanted ants?
Can you eat it too?
Which is better to use, powdered or liquid? I saw a video you did 6 years ago where you used liquid. I know you said to look for unsulfered but what I’m finding in the dry blackstrap contains sulfur. Is that a deal breaker?
In Texas we have soooo many ants, will molasses attract ants to the beds?
Don’t carbohydrates feed fungus?
What do you think about molasses dissolved in water and sprayed? Also does it have any benefit at all in a foliar application?
