VIDEO: Using Molasses for Amazing Results in High Intensity Organic Gardening

How I use molasses for huge success in a high intensity organic garden. It is not too difficult to do and by applying about 1 cup per 10 square feet your garden will thrive and grow stronger than ever because of the microbes.

  1. You know that molasses don't work right? Its the phosphorus and calcium in the molasses mix. Seriously look it up. FYI sugar in cattle feed ain't good either. Actually your feeding yeast and mold that attack the fruits buds and vegetables. Your wasting money. Their are cheap and easier methods of getting the little extra phosphorus and calcium.

  2. I can't believe YouTube would run a roundup brand ad at the bottom of this video! Anyone who would use that poison would not being interested in the organic side of gardening!!! Great videos, New subscriber!! Cheers

  3. Hello…question. Do you add molasses in the soil throughout your entire garden or just certain vegetables? Thank you very much for your time and input. V

  4. Wouldn’t be there natural way s
for the bacteria to survive . Molasses can burn the leaves . I saw this with the left over mollases in the compost tea

  5. So you are saying to use molasses? Your buddy patric oyr was saying he doesn't believe in molasses anymore. you guys should fight about it… epic rap battle of molasses

  6. Do you ever spray molasses on your foliage? I've read that it can be a deterrent to certain pests. Would that make it a pesticide? We are going to sell at a market this year and we're advertising no pesticides. I want to spray molasses on the leaves, and want to make sure it's not considered a pesticide before I do.

  7. I checked and is recommended to use molasses with 42% sugars instead of 38%. I will use the one you link to anyway as I can see the dried version will last longer and is actually better than the liquid version. I'm working with 72 square feet. Trying to teach myself self sufficiency so I can work with bigger land. About how often should I use dried molasses on the soil? Should it be on the soil or BURRIED in the soil for best results?

  8. Which is better to use, powdered or liquid? I saw a video you did 6 years ago where you used liquid. I know you said to look for unsulfered but what I’m finding in the dry blackstrap contains sulfur. Is that a deal breaker?
