VIDEO: Meet My GOATS! Our Changing Routine & More~A Collab!

We have had our goats since we moved to our farmstead. However, our routine did not go as planned. I chose to milk or dairy cow, Miss Belle, before our Nubian does. That is now changing! And I am excited to share and also learn from you and from these listed folks that are part of this special collaboration! Be sure to check them out below! Now, let’s get started! xo

  1. Love your channel stumbled crossed it somehow been watching ever since love your spunky feisty personality…lol I'm not a homesteader at all just love watching the lifestyle….btw I want Mr. Peaches…lol

  2. What a great video! It was great to see all the love and care you give your animals…this collaboration is wonderful, seeing all the different ways people do things. Loved your video!

  3. it don't say see rock city on your barn ! Look me in the eyes when I am giveing you sugars ! (dementedscuncats – pitch blues ) yes in the eyes mmmm sugars mmmm (goat talk)

  4. great video and thanks for sharing. your animals look great. nice fat, slick, and healthy. I love to hear chickens as they go about the farm yard talking to anyone that will listen. thank you for opening your farm to me so I can go on the journey with you. stay safe and healthy. love Joyce

  5. I've been raising Nigerian Dwarfs for over 12 years. During the summer months, I give em plenty of browse. Maples, Oaks, Raspberry Leaves, Comfrey…etc All in moderation. Goats digestion systems are sensitive; too much of anything will make em sick. They especially love White Pine Needles; I believe this also acts as a natural dewormer. Patara, do you clip your goats during the summer? Here in the northeast it gets 90+ and humid July and August; I clip em for relief.

  6. Love learning about the modern farm life. I am new here but I had to see what your homestead was all about after you put up the COPYING video, thinking is this for real or is she a professional comedian?
Well now I know this is for real! I have already formed an attachment to all the animals that I have met so far. Now I'm stuck like glue and can binge watch for a while until I get caught up.

  7. Not about goats but was very curious. When your livestock are about to deliver do you call a vet? do you know how to help them deliver? or let them birth natural by themselves? Itching to know

  8. Great video and lots of good info! I have been watching your videos for years and you where my inspiration / incouragement to get back to my roots ! sold our house in town, moved back to my family's homestead that was established in the late 1800s and have been slowly rebiulding, reclaiming, and building our livestock! only a few months ago did I realize …your from the same county as me !

  9. Excellent info! That DE is essential. Think in terms of: ok, Im going to need de, food, water…..in that order! Thank you for all the wisdom, and of course, mr. Peaches.

  10. Just pop in today 8-28-2018.
    Glad it did.
50 years ago had a cat like that , same color markings , but he had 7 toes on front paws.
The neighbors had a cat , more orange named peaches.
    How about that.
    I subscribe .

  11. You are sooo blessed. I know we see just a glimpse, and not the hardships and hard work that ya'll have to do to show this to us, but you are really blessed. Thank you for sharing all the videos with us. Blessings. Shalom

  12. I have questions. Do you brush your goats? What to do with hay after you rake it from goat bed? Do you wash your goats, how often? My goats are in a wooded 1 acre pen. How often should I feed them in the summer? Thank you for your help! I’m a new goat mom.
