i thought he was washing other "greens" lol
Your second spinner seems to be out of balance, but I know you'll fix that. Good job Curtis…
do you have it set up to reuse the wash water for irrigation?
What kind of mesh is that on your drying table? Are the details of the measurements of your drying station and other equipment in your book?
so efficient. I love it. I will never gripe about washing my greens in my little salad spinner again LOL
Hey Curtis! The other day I harvested my first crop of arugula microgreens. I was super excited! But as im sure you are well aware, microgreens are pretty delicate. What's the best way to wash and dry them? I hope to start doing this on a bigger scale to sell to restaurants in the future.
i want to leave my job and need to do project like this
i thought it was weed
Love your flow of work. How long does the salad mix last in the cooler?
Really efficient setup. Thanks for the breakdown. Could you do a video on grey water? Can you talk a little in how much area you might need for a range if water volumes?
tengo problemas con el invierno esta lloviendo muy fuerte ha dañado mi producción de kale, rucula
How/ where did your source the spinners
how does he time everything to keep a constant supply how do you constantly harvest in such a small space
How do you clean microgreens? I'd think these techniques would really damage them.
Come to nyc dude
I'm impressed that's a lot lettuce! Do you wash microgreens same way or do they just get a mist from above and kept clean anyway?
I make a pretty cool wooden greenhouse in Ne Hampshire I think people might be able to make them Can I send you a photo?
I'm in SMA Mexico for Winter. I went to a veggie coop market met the growing and said how much I dug your videos .Luc said yeah curtis is how I learned. He has quite a few acres in farm, He just bought a pair of horses as well. I see you go to PV any interest in San Miguel let me know !!
Do you have to wash Microgreens I didn't see it in ? asked ?
If you know an electrician you can set it up that when you switch it off the motor windings are shorted through a load resister and the back emf will brake the motor.
Hope you looked into hard wiring those spinners with a keypad. That would wreck a kid.
The Sanic Urban Farmer
How often do you wash your totes? And what do you use?
PS! Love your channel. Bought your audio book and I'm planning on starting a urban farm in southern California on my dads acre plot!
Why do you wash and do you use anything but water to wash?
Ile try to emulate this set up no idea where to get a spinner bubbler, and mesh table like that , did you guys make the table and spinner?
Curtis, hello and thank you for your valuable content.
How do you wash micro greens?
Love your music selection!
Exceptional video, Curtis. I have used it for reference in the ergonomic design of my own setup.
Question for u, if that’s ok? I know ur busy but was wanting to know if u could share how or can make a video about step by step on how to build ur bubbler, spinner and dry rack? I get the concept just not the actual design and how it is put together? Sorry for such a long question. I’m gonna try that at my place next year and thought if I could get a jump start I’d be ready when that first day comes around. Thank u for ur channel!
yup
