VIDEO: Homesteading ALONE~

The reality IS… life happens. Things can change. You always have to view whatever you do from a realistic stand point. What CAN a single person do or handle on a homestead? Clearly that varies, but that should always be in the back of every homesteader’s mind! Thank you for watching! xo

  1. I love being alone been homesteading by myself for a long time. If I make mistakes there mine don't yell at me. If I do something great it's me… At 71 I can lift a lot of stuff I'm 6 feet and very hardy. Lol I like my own company I don't have tv never liked it I read make things work on my farm love it…

  2. I’m 71 and not physically able to do much but I do try gardening. I want some chickens but can’t get the help I need to get started. I wish I could get my garden back to eden

  3. I love your realistic outlook on your situation and thank you for sharing. I pray that it won't happen like that for you, know you will make the best decisions for yourself. Many people freeze up and can't consider even trying to do things. Blessings. You are smart and will be ok.

  4. I'm soooo glad I found your channel… I'm actually dealing with everything you've been dealing with. Only my husband just passed away this past August. He struggled for years with multiple sicknesses. I took him 3 days a week to dialysis as well as numerous dr appointments, and homeschool along with getting a homestead started. I almost wanted to get out if it all since here passed but I believe I can still do this since this is what WE wanted. You've got a lot of knowledge that has helped me to REALLY think about as an alone homesteader. Thank you so very much!

  5. Just live life beautifully woman and love your husband and God will take care of the rest! Always children there even young couples that need a place to live and will do everything and more than you could ever do! And raise you up to a level you could never imagine! Remember fear is a liar! And Jesus Christ is our king! There nothing impossible with God

  6. I'm having some major health issues. My husband is an over the rd. Truck driver. I'm pushing 60 and I just don't know what this season holds. I do the homework solo. If he has to come home, what then. I just don't know. I'm horrified that I can't continue. Please say a prayer

  7. I came into this lifestyle alone. It's been so overwhelming, but this is the only way I desire to live. Hopefully I find some friends or something one day who want to do it with me.

  8. This is conformation for me because I am dealing with heart issues. Husband does not want to homestead with me so…. My season is homesteading alone. Yippee!!! Im ready. As soon asap.

  9. One year ago my husband started looking off color, really, not figuratively. He found a doctor not shut down for Christmas holidays and within two hours he was diagnosed with stage four Pancreatic cancer. He was told "You have stage four pancreatic cancer, you have four months to live, get your affairs in order". He endured Chemo for six months. We thought it would kill him. I am a long time believer and user of supplements so I started digging for other solutions. My husband started combing the internet. He came across a book by a British woman, who cured herself of cervical cancer. She was by profession a health care worker therefore she had access to doctors and medications not available to the average patient, but she kept working with various supplements until she cured herself. Wanting to share her information with others she wrote a book— long story short ,her name is Jane McLelland, her book is "How to Starve Cancer". One year later my husband is able to work half a day and his "blood work" is better. Doctors know Chemo does not work for the majority of patients but keep prescribing it because it makes money for hospitals. Don't take doctors pronouncements at face value. Your life is to important! Keep digging and praying !
