How do the raw elderberries taste? Are they sweet or sour? Or a combination of both? Also, are the pokeberries edible as well?

Elderberry & poke are nothing alike.
Elderberry and water hemlock are VERY similar. A better video would have compared the latter.
I love Elderberry jelly and peanut butter sandwiches. I think its better than grape jelly.
I’ve read that pokeweed isn’t toxic to birds, but might be to poultry. Do you know if i should thin them and keep them from my free range birds?
Thank you! Great video. Looking forward to learning more! We are planning our land out to be a food forest with a few animals. So excited!
Best video I've seen on this.
Do the elderberries get darker when it's time to harvest? And do you harvest in the fall?
Totally different. I have a HUGE elderberry bush in my back yard. I'm happy! Thank you miss!
Great video! Your explanations and examinations were very clear and precise. I found this video very interesting.

Now I know I don't have elderberries! Have to keep looking I guess
Love Elderberry Syrup.
Poke berries are on a stalk; elderberries are on an “umbrel.” Like an “umbrella,” as she says. Toxic unless ripe/purple.
Oh my goodness thank you so much. !!!! So helpful
does a species of the elderberries have a red stem and tiny black looking purple berries?
Luckily I found and bought 7 wild elder berry cuttings. I'm rooting them now (roots warm & tops cool). Praying for success.
