I ve tried to grow mints like this but after 3-4 days leaves becomes dry n blackish… Bt without ny root shoot. Though kept changing water in 2-3 days period…
So tried putting the healthy stems in water twice but the leaves droop after a day in water. What could be the reason?
Can I directly put the steam cutting in potting mix?

Aoa .sir meray pas dou teen gamlay hain us main mint grow kia tha .kisi nay btaya kay gap gap say pani daitay hain mint main magar wo dry ho gaya thoray he waqt main .phir pani say grow karnay ki atleast 5 time koshish ki hay.sir roots nahi nikalti ulta pani ganda ho jata hay tou zahir hay phainkna parta hay.mujhay mint pasand hay tou ab main buy karungi .mujh say grow bilqul nahi ho raha hay ….
I tried to grow my own spearmint and I don't know if I'm doing it right or not.
Thanks for doing this video. However my mint does not root in water even though I followed your video to the letter. I changed the water every two days. But Roots won't grow… After 2 weeks the stem rotted away and the cuttings withered away. Can you do a video to explain why? Thanks very much.
I purchased mint from my local market and they were small now they are huge with white tops to them that are kinda furry looking.
