  1. Hi Ben, i have been interested in that paradox..the bohr effect..needing the c02 to release oxygen seems to directly contradict The Wim Hof Method. I'm not in any way trying to discredit Wim's ideas, obviously something is working, I just don't understand how washing the C02 out of your system can help. I have practiced a method callled buteyko which works on the principal of the bohr effect…breath holds and minimising breaths to achieve a sort of altitude training effect without training at altitde. Youe gaseous exchange becomes more efficient. I would love to know about any reserach that comes from wim Hof, it seems to have gone a bit quiet. I'm espcially interested in people who have used the method to treat PTSD.

  2. awesome video Ben, got the space and some dedicated practitioners if you're around the brickell area of miami. my plan is to attend Wim's summer retreat in 2018. would be awesome to train with you before then if your schedule allows. big hug.

  3. Hi hoff says it does not matter wether you breath thru the mouth or nose, but you mention that breathing thru the nose is scientifically a better choice, so why do you not breath inn thru the nose and out thru the mouth?

  4. Thanks for this great video! You are connecting dots of information for me, that finally make so much sense!! Your explanation style is practical and deep enough at the same time!! Great job!! 😀 Thanks so much for sharing this!!

  5. I'm learning more from this than Wim's videos. Ben has a great way of explaining things that makes the science behind it easy to understand. One query, isn't the breath different from hyperventilating? And hyperventilating should be avoided. Other than that, amazing content, looking forward to part two. Cheers bro from NZ!
