  1. I’m pretty sure the type of cactus I have is a cereus. I have it in a clay pot it’s not too small of a pot I’m not really sure on the dimensions, but recently my cactus just started turning a bright light green instead of a dark green. It’s now shriveled up and dead. I don’t know if it died from overwatering or not enough sunlight. I leave it on my nightstand which is facing the window, but it’s the only plant in my room that’s not close to the window. I also leave my air conditioner on most of the time so that could be it. It’s lived for about 5 to 6 months and I got it from a lady who had it longer. It’s completely dried out but I recently brought back a vine plant that was dead for over three months and completely dried out and now it’s finally growing back so hopefully my cactus will come back to life as well. If anybody has any tips on what to do. The plant in the video is not completely dried out while mine is.
