I hear you, Patara! I've only got 4 hens, but anytime I post that I've got extra eggs, they're gone the next day. People just love fresh, free-ranged eggs. I also sell jams, pickles and saurkraut, and hope to continue that after I start collecting social security. There's only a few people who come to my house – close friends, only. I don't need strangers in my yard.
do you deliver herein oregon lollove your videos
I love your videos always straight forward down to the point and never sugar coating anything
You got this girl! Good luck. Keep us up to date on how it goes 🙂
Have you considered selling fertile eggs for hatching?
Awesome I hope you got 1,000, It's crazy here in Maryland people pay up to $9 a dozen at the farmers market and when talking to the sellers, they are gone by noon.
You are so well-spoken. Lots of words flow!!
Patara I just found you yesterday. I subscribed after watching a few vids. Can't get enough amazing you. I will be spending hours watching past vids. WOW!
Hello: I was setting here ready to go on this trip with you. I'm sad but I'll get over it, you leaving me behind.
How long do the fresh eggs last?
Did you get them all sold? 🙂 thanks for sharing 🙂
Can you deliver 3 eggs to PA? I just need 3 for an omelette, and I need them before lunch! Heh heh …… nice video, and best of luck to you and your family …… love your show, and yes, I'm one of those folks that have reached a certain point in their life where they can't start over, but greatly enjoy watching others succeed at it.
You need more hens!
Great info. It is times like this when I wish I was on Facebook.
Such a great message.
I started 3 Thai basil plants 5 years ago. Now I am the only producer of organic red Thai basil in Southern California and Arizona.
I now produce 820 Lbs a week 52 weeks a year. All presold and prepaid in 90 day cycles to vietnamese restaurants and markets.
Homesteading Rocks !!!!
Girl I bet you sleep good
Oh Patara, how I wish I lived close by because I would be buying your eggs. You wouldn't be traveling to my neck of the woods.
LOL!
Lady: "Hey, do you have any eggs?"
Chicken: "Go away or I'll hurt ya!"
…
Lady: "Is that a 'yes'?"
Y'all are awsome wonderful people. Blessings to you and your family. I love chickens
hay appalachia i m ali frm pakistan my questin is in which months hens gone broody?
Nice business you have. I live in the city and we can't sell them. Some friends of our put out a sign about selling eggs and the police came around and told them they had to take the sign down and get rid of his chickens. So, I eat ours, cook with ours and give them to the elderly at the church. They love them. I can't wait for your give away. I bought Danny's book on how to grow sweet potatoes, but I haven't bought Wanda's cookbook.
how much do you charge for a dozen
you should increase prices P. should make at least 3$ profit from each dozen
I have 14 hens…waiting on a cow and goat and sheep
Watching this at midnight
How many chickens do you have. How does a person get into retail or diners or bakeries Thanks great channel.
