VIDEO: How to Grow Oleander/Kaner From Cuttings(With Update Video)

GROW OLEANDER/KANER FROM CUTTNGS WITHIN 15 DAYS …:)
DAIZZ’S TIPS:-
oleanders are a flowering tree or shrub that can tolerate harsh environments and thrive in locations other plants cannot. Oleanders grow in any well-drained soil, but require full sun and hot temperatures.
1.
Choose a healthy, mature oleander to harvest the cutting. Clean and sterilize a sharp pair of cutting shears.
2
Cut a 6- to 8-inch long piece from a firm branch. The cutting can be done at the lower or top branches of the mature oleander as long as the cutting itself has at least two leaf nodes.
3
Remove the lower leaves from the cutting, leaving only the leaves at the top. Trim the remaining leaves to about 1 inch to reduce the loss of moisture.
4
Fill a clean glass with 2 to 3 inches of water. Place the bottom part of the cutting where you removed the leaves in the water.
5
Examine the cutting regularly and replace the water every 48 hours. Look for roots to sprout after a few weeks. Continue with the remaining steps once the roots reach about 1 to 2 inches.
6
Fill a 6-inch pot with potting soil that has good drainage. Create a hole in the soil large enough to cover the rooted cutting. Place the rooted cutting into the hole, and cover with soil.
7
Dampen the potting soil with water, and place the pot in a sunny location that will receive full sun for at least four hours a day. Moisten the soil lightly with water when it becomes dry. Test the dryness of the soil by inserting your finger in the soil. If the soil is dry, lightly water until the soil is damp but not soggy.
8
Transplant the cutting to a gallon-size container when it reaches a year old. Apply a high-phosphorus, low-nitrogen fertilizer to the oleander in early spring and early fall. Established oleanders do not need fertilizer to thrive. However, the proper fertilizer will increase bloom production and growth rate.

  4. Thanks for this nice vdo sir.
    I have 2 questions
    1. Can we use ale Vera gel instead of rooting hormone?
    2. Which season or weather conditions are good for growth of cuttings?

  5. I've had great luck with taking "cuttings" from lower branches that grow out from a mature bush through the soil, sort of like suckers. I cut the root, strip the stalks 2/3 of the way up and cut all the remaining leaves in 1/2. In about 3-4 weeks I end up with 4 foot tall bushes that are sprouting leaves at all the nodes. I've done an entire 250ft hedge using this method.
