  1. It would be too late for me here in British Columbia. It is crazy how early it gets dark already. I've even seen some trees getting fall colour ๐Ÿ™ I just do a spring top dress of compost on the food forest perennial vegetables, and it keeps them super happy.

  2. What about recommendations for fertilization that isn't purchased from a store? Couldn't I use some combination of mulch/compost? (And if so, any recommendations?)

  3. You have a ton of runners on those strawberries. Don't they take away from berry production? Do you start new strawberry plants with them? I have Albion strawberries and they produce all season. That being said I just did thin them out. I have them in hanging pots on fence wall. I used Trifecta in the planting holes today!! Will I have to do any thing more? I live in Zone 9 in No. Ca.

  4. @Migardener. excuse me if this has been talked about in videos in the past.
What are your views on mixing/tilling in the stocks, stems, and foliage of your crops back into soil before winter comes? Basically composting in your raised beds in the off season. ? Thanks! love you, love the show.

  5. Hi, I love all of ur videos…..could you please make a video on what to spray plants to get rid of insects before taking them inside the house for example lemon plant, gardenia plant, and jasmine plant…and thank you.

  6. can someone please answer this question for me: i was told by a local gardener that when the seeds starts germinating (for lettuce), pull some of them out (thinning) to give room for lettuce to grow. why would i do that?if i pull out (or thin) some of the germinated seeds, isn't that wasting them? can i at least put them in another container?? thanks in advance…..

  7. Here, rodents (rabbits, woodchucks, etc.) regard my perennials as a free vegetarian buffet which I kindly offer to them. I buy them, I plant them, I water and fertilize them, they eat them.

  8. Can you tell me in the Staten Island NY area or NJ area I can buy trifecta plus. I would like to buy it locally instead of buying it by mail and paying shipping and handling. I can also get local advice on my perennial plants.

  9. Will do that tomorrow, I just came in from being outside. Luke, young man you more appreciated than you'll ever know. I'm an older person and every time I watch one of your videos I love to see the beginning. In the photos there's one where you are wearing a baseball cap it reminds me of when we (my siblings & myself) were kids. My brothers were in 4H club and in the Fall, Winter they had animals for the club in school. Thank you for all you bring to us your viewers and me memories of far long gone days. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Love, Health and Peace to you and yours!
