Dude, your camera/gimbal/stabilization upgrade is great!! What are you using that is different?
Some info for US East coast buyers of BCS – expect long delays – up to 3 weeks on some items. I ordered my 749, rotary plow, dozer blade, and tiller on Aug 24 from a dealer – Got the 749, dozer blade and rotary plow on Sept 8th and just today got the 30" tiller in. The good news according to my dealer is that BCS is putting in a warehouse near Abingdon VA next year – so no more long ass waits. Right now everything comes out of Oregon – according to the dealer.
First Hand Experiences with the rotary plow –
Will it handle rocks – YES.
Will it handle LOTS of rocks, I mean like more rock than soil in places – YES – but keep a good grip
Will it handle big rocks, like basket ball size and larger – YES – but – It has to be able to get a bite on it otherwise it throws one hell of a fireworks display as the heat treated blades chip away at the larger rocks. So far the biggest I have hit with mine is a rock about 3 inches bigger than my waist – I have a 34 waist – and it kicked it about a foot out of the way
How well does it chew the ground up? – I have super hard packed clay and some pretty nice loamy places – With fresh blades you dont really need to till. I dropped mine as deep as it would go and it chewed the ground nearly perfectly. I ran the tiller through just for giggles and if you step on it now youll sink up to your knee.
Nothing but praise for the rotary plow – Its damn awesome and worth every penny you pay for it.
I really appreciate your channel and all of the tips and advice on farming. I was just wondering if you have any tips on forming beds for or using flood irrigation? I'm in central Arizona and on an irrigated lot, hoping to find a good system that's no too heavy on water usage. Also, would love to volunteer for your workshop here in November.
I have learned so much from you! I have big feet and need 12 inch walk ways. Tried to go smaller but did not work. My darn feet are to big and to be comfortable and not fall and kill myself, just do what I have to do…!
Curtis…Cool that you work out discounts. I took advantage of the coolbot you had and got the knife sharpener. Have you looked at a discount for the greens harvester with a combo like an extra blade and repair kit for viewer? Oh and the Jang Seeder… Thanks for all you do.
Can't wait to see you in Spokane!
Keep kicking butt up there Curtis! So motivating!
18 x 12= 216
216 – 10 = 206 walkway on one side.
206 / 6 = 34.33 – 10 = 24.33!
Curtis you have an amazing system. I have been trying to incorporate a lot of what you do and this season has been great. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. ;)> Harry
Great stuff! How do your landowners feel about your hyper specialised crop range? Presumably they quite liked the tomatoes? Do you buy other vegetables to give them?
how do you harvest micro greens from tray?
Awesome preparation !! thanks for sharing
hey urban farmer, have you heard of no-till farming? Apparently the microbial life in the soil that provides nutrients to the plants gets destroyed because of tiling. Farmers say they are getting a higher yield, and use a crap ton less fertilizers because of the technique
Awesome, bought our bcs about a month ago. Lol shucks!
I kept remembering Monty Python…" two things, no three.." No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. Thanks for your time and enthusiasm.
That's really good the sound of rain dropping and awesome to have humidity/moisture back.no more fire to worry.

I would like to have some of the t-shirts with the chicken on them. On the back though.
Where did you buy your green houses especially the smaller ons
at 2:20 what is the name/kind of the hedge behind you curtis?
Hi Curtis, great videos lately, very informative. Was wondering if it makes sense to put skinny beds on the outside edges of the greenhouse since you can't really use the walkways on the edge. In winter with condensation on the plastic you get a shower if your back touches the plastic. Also was wondering if you will put down fabric in the isles for weeds, or maybe those high fertility wood chips that JM was trying.
Love the 80/20 rule advice, works in all parts of your life. Thanks for sharing your life with us viewers.
like look of your gloves. link?
Great information on preparing the greenhouse for winter crops. Im trying to prolong the growing season a bit in my greenhouse as you can see in the latest video. Im hoping my pepper will be done before the weather gets to bad. Then its time for winter crops. You are doing a great job. Love your videos. Greetings from Andreas on Off Grid Sweden.
Already enrolled for the Spokane Farm & Food Expo. Can't wait to see you!
Don't worry Curtis lots of Americans hate the imperial system too. Metric system is much easier to use!
Do you use earth worms to help your green house beds?
Curtis:
What is the average temperature of your greenhouse during the winter? In fahrenheit if you please 🙂
