  1. Looks good. I bet it would be good with apples and walnuts. I was mixing cranberries into apple dish for 30 years then 5 years ago I seen a store have apple cranberry pie. All I could say was you are a little late on that pie I've been making that way for a long time.

  2. Gonna' try this recipe….looks awesome. May try to use GF all-purpose flour. Also, took your advice and bought a chopper like yours. I am so happy with it….it saves the eyes, the fingers and it's so quick. Why haven't I gotten this before cause it sure does make life easier. Thanks a heap !!

  3. I made a huge pumpkin cake one time and it fell–well I will not throw out anything–soo I took that cake and made a pumpkin desert and used van. pudding and more nuts and brown sugar–wow everyone went crazy for it-lol! yep we can make do with what we got and make it taste yummy too—you go girl!! God bless!

  4. looks good i had a friend that added apple sauce to all her fruit breads (banana, strawberry, peach, apple, cherry, fig and date, pumpkin and squash, blueberry and so on) and they were always so moist and very tasty. thanks for sharing. oh by the way i have the small pans how long do bake in them i have lost my time sheet.

  5. Yum O!! Thank you for sharin'! Is your chopper from Aldi's? I got mine from Aldi's because of videos of yours way back showing one you had for many years. My thoughts when I saw this chopper at Aldi's was "Oh Patara uses one of them in her videos, I must have one!" LOL 😉

  6. You are so smart to get her to right it down-I treasure the recipes in my mothers handwriting-some I wish had a little ore explanation-but I get in there and experiment. The cooler weather and holidays approaching have put me in the baking and cooking mood too. I had some apples the other day that needed to be used up-so I pealed and slice them and put in a lemon juice bath while finishing the apples. I then melted some butter with brown sugar and just a pinch of salt and cooked them till tender and let them cool. I used the cooked apples in a spice cake I made and then took some to my next door neighbor is a widower and I take him plates of food and sweets. He is such a sweetheart and has been a great neighbor to my parents and now me. That banana bread looks awesome, hmmm-next on my list. I am doing a pantry cleanout/ reorganization and no telling what will be in coming off the stove and out of the oven the next few weeks. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family-love your videos and all the knowledge and wisdom you share. Now break time is over-back to the kitchen to make pork enchalads if my son did not eat all my leftover pork roast up-forgot to put a note that it was for Sunday dinner.

  7. I just love your videos. You are always so upbeat. You also have my corelle plates. What did your bread taste like? Pumpkin or banana? I like to try new things but my hubby wants the original.
