Amazing video, love the sign-off
Thank you for sharing
You have impacted my gardening style. I will be using wood chips. All I really need is a wood chipper, and my wife's yardwork company can get me all the material I will ever need to feed into it! So, chip everything, leaves and all, eh? Check!
I lived in the woods. Dead tree branches break off. WOODCHIPS (I hate stupidity wrapped up in presumption and ignorance!) So, yes, woodchips and leaves ARE produced by the forest.
What you are doing (speeding it up) is the same thing Jesus did to make water into wine. Water is made into wine every day…only slowly. So, speeding up the process is clearly a Godly thing to do. If done naturally, which this is.
Parasites…

Is this how I can turn my heavy clay “soil” into beautiful garden soil??
City I live at will deliver if u r a business or cartity… but u can pick it up and they will.load it with a tractor for every one else.. which is cool. And they have so much its 50 feet high and goes forever
At 4:40 to 4:44 into video, is that a rabbit in the background below your right elbow? I can't see clear enough on my computer but it moves like one. Biodiversity isn't what this video is about, but it is an illustration of living in harmony with nature.
Awesome video! Your dogs are such great helpers! Very informative.
You should grow a little shroom garden in your wood chips, if you are not already. Beautiful, photo/video-o-genic and delicious, some are medicinal of course, also valuable if you are doing the weekly farmer's market sort of thing.
You along with Dr. Elaine Ingham (hands on soil scientist) have helped me start my journey of gardening. Thank you for posting.
Hi James and Tuck . I hope you are doing well. Thank you for this beautiful and useful video . You are a true leader!! Thank you for your continued effort.
I had a large bag of wood chips infested with termites. I panicked. I put it in the garbage bin.
Two Tucks? I had never seen the 2nd Tuck
Its a game changer link below
I get all my mulch from the tip, it's incredibly diverse, already hot composted and broken down. Does wonders for my garden. The soil underneath is very moist how anyone could claim a fire hazard is beyond me.
How do I treat the wood chips that are full of bugs?
Jeez James you need to get you hands on some old bins for jobs like this so when you get home you don't have to fork all of it again. I would use wood chips as I get them.
Messed up they didn’t just load you up with the front loader
How much is a truck load man?
Another sweet doggie! What's this one's name?
What do you think of adding cardboard shredded Into the soil ? Bad or good with the ink that is eventually invisible to the eye?
In the Western high desert, the subterranean termite is as common as ants. But, underground. I have wondered if all the wood they eat is just incorporated into soil. It must be. But , they don't eat plants, so I've never cared if they are in the garden. The subterranean ones do no harm.
Good job. Keep up the good work..!
