  1. One thing I've seen done is to plant the tomatoes between two cattle panels. I'm sure the second one is put up after the plants are planted. But the end result is that the tomatoes are pinned between the two panels. It seemed to work well. I like stakes myself! I use t-posts and furring strips!

  2. Best for tomatoes is to stake each one with a 6' x 1" stake and tie up their branches with 1" strips of torn cotton cloth. Zipties damage the branches, as do plastic and elastic ties.

  3. Chickens lay in the same nest box to protect the future of the flock. If they all lay in their own box, they all would have to sit on the eggs. If they are all together only one hen has to sit, And can be protected by the others if need be

  4. I was wondering how wide your beds are. And how much space is between your tomatoes and peppers?
I know this is an old video, but I love watching your videos and since I can't watch enough £'m going pretty far back haha!

  5. I always enjoy your enthusiasm.. tell Jeremiah to stand off with his Power move! LOL. to add .. I have used .. worn out, not used hose to keep mine up between T posts.. It protects.. broader weight load.. and use season to season.. thanks for your commitment to helping us all!

  6. I've been watching your videos religiously for the last few months and have started watching some of your older ones including the one after you lost baby goats and all your chickens and your garden failing and its actually amazing and helpful to see you go through that and now see where you are! Thank you so much for all you share from a small newbie in New Zealand!

  7. This is an amazing early video – Ben is so tiny, your garden is so abundant. Please suggest or link these earlier videos before you move. There are so many people that would love watching this one.

  8. I have been slowly going back and watching your old videos as we prepare to build up and move to our new homestead. I love watching where you all are now and where you have been. It’s a big encouragement to me when I’m getting impatient with our progress!
