  1. i have tried and tried to get my chicken to dust bathe in there run.. they just won't.. i have tried big tubs, little tubs.. you name it.. they refuse… don't know what else to do..

  2. The snow is finally melting! Been snowed in up here. My 4 month old chickens are doing great! It's always wonderful and welcome to have an update! Good reminder that mites are HARD to get rid of once you have them! I use DE in side and out! Love all your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Even if a person is a long time chicken rangler, sometimes we need reminded! Bee Blessed!

  3. Mr. Peaches may not be able to do things for but he can always be there in his supervisory position. Always a very important job that every cat knows the importance of. Even in a trailer they will supervise the washing of the dishes. May your Mr. Peaches live a long and healthy life and you all too. LOL.

  4. HEY MISS P! GLAD TO SEE YOU IN SUCH HIGH SPIRITS CONTINUING TO PERSEVERE DESPITE THAT OLE TENNESSEE WEATHER. ANOTHER AWESOME TIP FROM PATARA! I HAVE BEEN USING SEVERAL OF THE WHITE DISH PANS AS WATERS FOR MY FLOCK. THEY CAN PERCH EASILY ON THE EDGE OF THE CONTAINERS. DRINK ALMOST ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BOTTOM. ALL DEBRIS GATHER AT THE BOTTOM AND ARE QUICKLY WASHED OUT WHEN NEW WATER IS ADDED EVERYDAY. I GOT MINE SUPER CHEAP FROM BIGLOTS.

  5. I'm just getting into homesteading I've been reading up on different birds to have around. Recently I've read about the guinea fowls to control ticks and snakes, a lot of people say don't they're so mean to chickens and other issues. wondering if you (or anyone) has experience with them and can say oh heck no, or yes they're great. I'm looking for tick, rat and snake control if you know anything, I have a toddler so they need to not be mean.
