This is a bit all over the place, but I talk about the experiment that we are going to be doing this year in finding out which zucchini grows the best for us – by growing them all! Experimenting with different varieties and different plants is a good way to learn what grows well in your space, and I highly recommend everyone makes at least one experiment every year.
I also give a tour around the garden, showing all the signs of spring. And talk about my zone, and the urban micro climate, and Kelowna specific challenges that I deal with. I also explain my green mulch system that I use for suppressing weeds and holding in moisture.
