I'm starting out with my first garden this year! I plan to start a farm within the next couple years, but I need to get out of school first. Anyway, do you have any advice for keeping animals out of the garden? I live in a super rural area with lots of deers and rabbits, and I might not be able to get a fence. Will planting some aromatic herbs be enough? If not, what will? Thanks! Love your videos.

Attended the Selmer TN workshop in 2017. Highly recommend for anyone considering a course. I cannot speak highly enough of Curtis’s teaching methods, commitment to the students, and enthusiasm.
LOL not just free labor, they pay you to work on your farm. now that's just good business.
It was so much fun getting to attend this workshop. For me one of many of the benefits I hadn't thought about before attending was getting to network with all of the other attendees of the workshop. I was finally around like-minded people and got a lot of inspiration from the projects they are all working on.
I wish I could have been there since you were literally in my backyard, but business calls. Hopefully you'll be back in AZ soon!

I’m doing this in the UK after doing my farm work in oz and doing a PDC in Costa Rica. Once I saw curtis videos I was in total belief that this can be my full time job! Hopefully can make it to the Stockholm course!
$2500? Holy balls… That one group picture represents $62,500! (52,500 "sale" price)… It's very hard to separate out what success is gardening, and what success is seminar. 🙁 I was super stoked on your channel until I saw this video and then the website and ticket costs. It sucks you say 'gardening isn't for the rich' yet you want us to spend half of our start-up costs on a seminar.
And now I find it a little curious, and a little suspect, that you were required "by law" to stop offering unpaid internships to be the truth, after seeing how lucrative your seminars are. After watching a bunch of you videos, it's obvious that you're a good businessman. It actually makes more (business) sense that you stopped doing internships because you found out how much money you could make from seminars and inviting a bunch of people to do a free week of work for you on your farm. Really wanted to believe in this… sigh
