VIDEO: Pursuing my PASSION, Living With Purpose

When your work is your passion it no longer is work, its living with purpose. Today I am pursuing my passion of growing the highest quality food as naturally as possible. You dont need a lot of space to make a difference, you just need a purpose.

  1. Love all the video styles. But please continue uploading the harvest videos. They are inspirational and therapeutic. Thanks for the great content. Looking forward to more.

  2. For future reference you could use those sticks for propagation! And or Hugelkulture, Hugo. Whatever it is.
Just friendly suggestions! Love the videos. Keep pursuing!

  3. Hello! i have a quick question:
i want to turn my backyard into an area where i can start farming, but i think i have the worst yard ever. there are huge roots and trees everywhere, giant rocks and trash buried, super dense soil, and to top it off, it's on a slight slant! living in new jersey, there are good nutrients, but my yard is a wasteland! the shrapnel and rocks and roots prevent me from tilling, and i can't dig by myself more that a foot before coming across impossible soil.
is there a tool i can use to loosen up my soil, and remove the GIANT garbage and rocks? im talking the size of my head and broken rusted metal that stretches across the yard ;~; and i cant afford to build raised beds.

  4. you are the 2nd channel I've watched today that I KNOW I've been subbed to, but the SUBSCRIBE button was showing, not subscribeD. Anyone else noticing this?

  5. Love how you are proving what goes around, comes around. You are a blessing to the elderly man and he is a blessing to you. Life is beautiful when that happens. Same with Tuck. Y'all enhance each others lives. You have many positives in your life. Congratulations. I found a source of wood chips right here in my neighborhood. The landscape companies have to pay to use the landfill. One guy who was generous lets the companies dump their trimmings on the edge of his property. As long as I don't mind (and I don't) I can drive around the block and load what I want. I wish it were so easy with our rural property. I am having a hard time finding trimmings/chips out in the country. Large distances between properties and many who illegally dump anywhere they think no one will see makes it hard to entice the companies to drive over to my place. In the city it is easier. Sometimes I think I am the only woman around here that runs down tree cutting companies so I can beg for chips. I put the word out that I was looking for chips – here's my address, just dump in the driveway. I came home one day and had 5 dump truck loads of chips waiting on me! My neighbors thought I was crazy. I thought I had found a pot of gold. I am not above stopping and asking people if I can take the bags of leaves they put out by the road. If they are elderly or disabled, I will rake their yards for them – no charge. My form of what goes around, comes around. And there is always Christmas. My husband finally realized I was serious when year after year I kept asking for a load of compost as a present. He doesn't share my passion for gardening. However, he also doesn't argue. He shakes his head, smiles and says …. most women want jewelry and I get one that wants poo from the zoo! Life sure is funny that way.

  6. My brother in law is over around your way in Martinsburg WV. If we can make it over there this year I'd love to shoot up there and check your place out. Maybe bring the family with me so they can see what we could do outside of peppers.

  7. With the wood chips do you ever have problems with fleas having the dog and if so what do you use in your yard to get rid of them without harming the dog or yard. Thanks.
