Very helpful video, thanks man!
Thanks for sharing this info James… 🙂 Please keep us updated to see how well the tomato plants are growing…
Another great video! I am going to look for the Happy Frog soil at my store. Great filming James' brother! 🙂
Thanks for the soil clumping info, I think that explains some issues I've had in the past with some seeds
What is an innoculent?
VERY GOOD video.Full of INFO … thanks James ^_^
Great video and really like your set up. Started my tomato seeds and 90% germinated. Started them in flats with heating mat and bottom water. Will need to transplant into bigger cups soon as the 2nd set of true leaves are starting to grow. With all of the cups you have for starting seeds, how long does it take you to cut those holes in the bottom of all those cups with a razor? That has to be quite time consuming I would think but I like the idea of being able to reuse those cups for several seasons. Thank you for the video, very informative.
northern NJ future grower here. great video, and tips. it's been years since i've had an active garden……. cannot wait to start again! thanks!
Good, helpful info as usual. Thanks
Where in NJ are you located
Whats frost date
Great job guys love your videos:)
Hi James. Still catching up man… this should be a big help for me next year. Thanks for posting such a great detailed explanation!
Is it okay if you just direct sow in the ground or a container? I would like to grow tomatoes in the late spring because I don’t really have a lot of light in my house that would grow plant well. I don’t mind getting a later crop. It just seems better than constantly transplanting plants. I also live in Jersey.
Thank you for all the info James!
I like the one cup only and from that cup, right to the ground. What size cup?
Smart! Thanks!
Just curious, why don't you use your own seeds especially of those annuals you plant year after year?
Dude you are crushing it. Glad I found your channel, I have plans to start a food forest here within a few years and I'm going to soak up all your videos. Love how you cite other experts sometimes, shows you're still aggressively studying yourself.
I am also in New Jersey, I don't know where can I get "Black Leaf Mulch"?
Great information! Thanks so much for sharing it!
I always wondered who was filming.
Would love to see a behind the scenes show.
This video is helpful for me. I started growing orange pumpkins from seed in a small plastic container with a wet cloth towel at the bottom. Maybe I can have a mini pumpkin patch this summer and fall. I will let you know how my pumpkin plants do.
James, where is your link to purchase stuff on Amazon? I want to buy some of that potting soil you recommend
Rattlesnake!
You give really helpful information. Thank you
