VIDEO: Time Waits For No One

The push is on! This is the most exciting time of the year with so many projects that need to be done. We must realize that we can’t get more time, but we can become more valuable in the time that we have.

  1. Am I the only Southerner here? (not native, but all my adult life) I almost feel like I should feel guilty that I already have baby peaches growing, am a month away from planting out warm-weather crops, etc….

  2. I wish you had a video on pruning an Asian pear tree. I know they are pruned differently from say a peach tree..They tend to grow up instead of out. I need help.Any suggestions?

  3. I don't like that they call it the face of an enemy in that song. It would seem less wicked if it said the face of a stranger imo. Congratulations on your great food forest. Best wishes!

  4. Hey James, I would like to thank you for making these videos. I found your channel a few months ago. It has truly inspired me. I live in Indiana on 8 acres. I just made an agreement with a local tree company for all the chips I could ever want. I was so excited when I got off the phone. I think you may be someone who could really understand how exciting it was. Thank you for the inspiration

  5. Your hard work is so inspirational James! No land yet, but learning lots from you and taking notes. Will apply what I can to my potted plants.

  6. the chicken in your place is the same as the chicken in my place, but the season in your place is not in my place. the beauty of difference and equation. always inspiring, may god bless us.

  7. Yes to weekly walkthroughs! I can't start a food forest because I'm still living at home while I'm in debt (and we don't own our house) but I can garden and practice stuff in the meantime.

  8. I planted two apple trees about 15 yrs ago and they did not put out flowers or fruit. I also planted a peach in a different spot and have to fight chipmunks for fruit. I know the apples are in too much shade.location location! I want some nickels but my dog would not leave them alone.

  9. Do you have a favorite resource for learning proper pruning techniques? I have a fig tree that's needing some work and haven't found a great source for pruning info.

  10. I've been watching your videos lately and think I need to go start back at the beginning and watch that way instead of most recent backwards! It's fun watching things grow and evolve, and as we just have a baby food forest it will be nice to get to watch yours grow in fast-motion compared to our real-time garden! You should really put song credits in your video description- you play so much good music I always want to know what it is! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
