Curtis phase one of the urban plot here in central Texas is formed and planted.
You inspired this reality first. I am extremely grateful.
1600 sqft
Hey Curtis thank you for all your hard work. great content!!
Thanks.
You are the greatest teacher in farming. You inspired me to start my own mini farm.
Great video and amazing tool. Does steadfast use the Berta flail mower or the BCS branded roller-ball model? I don't see the BCS red frame, but also don't see the removable baffle plate of the Berta.
After this series, I feel many viewers would appreciate a video on your input and thought about tilling in your operation. I feel many people have gotten very caught up in the permaculture idea of "no-till" and consider everything but no-till to be catastrophic to the soil even though you practice "low-till" in your operation. The past few videos in this BCS series seem to have comment sections embroiled with "no-till police" harassing aspiring and newcomer market gardeners. Perhaps you could make a new video and set them straight? Loving the new content by the way.
Any reason you don’t amend the soil pre tarp?
Thanks for sharing!
How about putting chickens on that for a week or two???
Is there a reason why you do the steering from the front or back? I could imagine it could be mulched ,with the steering handles on the back side of the machine?
Hi Curtis, thank you for the amazing work.
Some generic questions for you:
How old were you when first starting farming 8 years ago?
What age is too old for starting farming?
Cheers
Moss
I will have that attachment before next season. Frickin love that thing.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
curtis around 4:22, is that walkway on the right side just landscape fabric? is it a special kind of landscape fabric?
Dude, you are living MY dream. That’s OK, I’m not using it yet…
Keep it up.
Thanks for the info stay. Irie. J ah bless all
A flail mower is like a flail…got it!
We made a video about mulching with cardboard It's cheap, easy, and better than using plastic! https://youtu.be/qY9dZanRuOE
