I feel incompetent in strawberry growing. I know your trick is in the soil. Ive heard you say it before,but if you have time, can you list how you prepare the soil? My father in law said strawberries need a lot of nitrogen. I know you deep mulch out of season. well, anyhow- can you share/list how you get them ready again? thanks. they are beautiful.

Hi Leah, I live in zone 7b too. Is it too late to put strawberry transplants down?
Beautiful strawberries. What cultivar are they? We are in zone 8b so I can probably grow the same ones. We are growing some now; they are very small but tasty.

The size of your strawberry bed is no joke. I am always so jealous when I watch your strawberry videos. I am still searching for a spot on my property where the strawberries can grow not minding too much that they didnt get the sunniest spot. Thanks for sharing the tips on mulching them real good. Once I find a spot, I will be sure to do that!
