  1. I think you can use those pools for your advantage. fill the pools with leaves then put the wood chips on top of that. you would have Sub irrigated planter.

  2. So is it to early to come to some sort of conclusion about soil being mix with wood chips? Do you believe that the wood chips may decompose more rapidly and be of a benefit to the plants? Thank You for all the work you do in setting up these trials

  3. I cut off rye grass today but my soil is kind of hard. Can I plant my tomatoes there or better not ?
    Could you give me any ideas what to do now?

  4. I’ve been using clover for my cover so far. Is this winter rye better. When I go to plant things the clover is thick so I pull some before I seed or plant. Would I have more room to seed and plant without pulling any of winter rye?

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have a question about growing fruit trees in container, please. I have planted several fruit trees in containers. Can I plant comfrey and winter rye in the same container to help the trees’ growth?

I am new to no til doing my first garden this year which i used compost and wood chips and its doing pretty good but my question is for about a half acre spot i want to plant fruit trees and veggies. For this area that is now with grass what would you do to have it ready for next year to plant? Sew winter rye this fall? Thanks for all your videos and help! You are an inspiration!
