Great hearing how other farmers have shaped their businesses to fit their context.
I dig it !
Shot 🙂
Q
I support Sk and what Green Sisters does but personally I have lived outside MJ my whole life and have not bought their products because it is very expensive for us still.
Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for posting this Curtis, and sharing Keri with us. Her story is very inspiring, especially being a single mom. It's great to hear these stories how you have been a positive influence on people.
I would love to see a hot weather Urban farm. Preferably in Texas or a nearby state.
Loved this interview Curtis, thank you. I would love to hear more interviews like this, perhaps a bit longer form though? Thanks, I appreciate all that you do.
Great interview, thanks.
I enjoy the interviews with other farmers. Especially on their farms so they can show off their operations.
Awesome, urban farmers are slowly but surely replacing Big Ag. Large conventional supermarkets – especially here in the Okanagan Valley – are being forced into the 'locally grown' movement. Really, really great to see. Keep up the great work both of you!
Very cool! So inspiring 🙂
I had .5 acre with goats, chickens and inhospitable tx soil while homeschooling 2 kids and working in nursing so good on you Keri. What I want to know is if there are any disabled urban farmers. Have a muscle destroying disease now so can't handle heat, heavy loads, walking or biking like I could 2 yrs ago. Have resorted to container gardens and trying bag planting on the driveway as the fruit trees are giving more shade than I planned.
very smart eloquent lady glad she's doing well!
goodness I so needed to hear this today. Lately I have been feeling down and defeated. My second year in such a short grow season. I keep trying to tell myself that it is okay, I am learning, I will get there one day.
It’s SasKatchewan, not SasQuatch. 🙂
Curtis! I am fascinated by all of this! I have 173 acres and am a wannabe farmer. Your videos are making it seem so much more doable. I always thought I’d need big expensive equipment. One thing about youtubers that is really frustrating though, is when they say « I’ll do s live session this Friday, » without a date snd year. Can you start adding that? So we know we’ve already missed it like two years ago! Lol!
Good video Curtis. I haven't seen many women urban farming. its good to see her doing well. A visit to greensisters if your ever in her area would be great to see.
Moose Jaw’s most progressive homeowners, love it.
My mother had just ask me if there was anymore women following your growing system. I'm happy to get to share this one with her. Thank you Kerry also!

Merci
I'm happy Kerry found her niche. She seems happy and proficient at urban gardening.
Women and construction trades don't seem to work very well. When your plumbing leaks request a woman plumber.
Thank you for this interview. it encourages me to do urban farming as well
All the healthy farms are in the northern lattitudes. The summer heat down here in the lower 48 burns…
Aboot
If the dad didn't help at least some, he's a complete asshole.
I think little kids love hardwork.
My son loves going to school even if it was 1-1/2hr away.
He never complained and even after he stopped going to pre-school so far away, he said it as a matter of factly. “That was hard”
It was the best sleep he has ever had
Elementary school was across the street and everything got screwed up. I should have let him keep going to school 1-1/2HRS away.
MY BIGGEST MISTAKE.
WALLY'S BOOKS???
Would love to follow in your footsteps.
