Beautiful! These three are my favorite as well. Squirrels have destroyed my larger sunflowers though. They snack on the seeds before I get to!
Another good one for the front of your floor bed would be nasturtions they are low growers and orange if your not already planting then around your lettuce and cabbages.
I love cosmos. They have to be one of my favorite flowers. I deadhead them and they just keep right on blooming. Hubby hates them because they tend to fall over and root where they lay. I would love to get my hands on some of the giant cockscomb seeds.
Thank You Patara for high lighting these favorites.
Love sunflowers.. beautiful little spot garden..
☆have a wonderful day☆
Tried the zinnia last year based on a video of yours and they were great in the same zone as you, but lower elevation.
We love lemon queen sunflowers and also… poppies! They reseed themselves and come in amazing colors. Danish Flag is beautiful near barns and I believe the seeds are the edible ones.
Beautiful flowers and a really nice combination of colours. Thanks for the tip on seed saving, I've never done that before, I want to try it out! It's true about the weeds. I'm a new gardener, we're renting still so I have a container garden going and for a while there, I couldn't tell what was a weed and what was the plant! Mind you, there aren't too many weeds in containers, but there still are. Can't wait for a real garden soon! 🙂
Just beautiful ! I planted some Dahlias and can't wait to see them bloom . Looks like they will be the giant plate type . Thanks for the video , Linda
Such beautiful flowers and Mr. Peaches to end it. Couldn't be any better.
Love the choices of flowers……Zinnias have always been a fave of mine too. I need to try sunflowers
Wallflowers are awesome too – and seed so easily! Some yellow ones among your Zinnias would be gorgeous!
good choices!
Just subscribed! We love your content. You have great info and awesome videos. Can't wait for more!
California Giant zinnias are my favorite. I saved seeds from my cosmos and zinnias last year and planted this year. Easy peasy as you said❤️ My cosmos self-seeded in my vegetable garden.
I wish there was a love button!
Love this idea. Going to do it next Spring.
Love this video Patara ….thank you 🙂
Absolutely gorgeous Patara!!!
Love all those flowers.
Very pretty Patara, thank you for sharin'. Thank you Mr. Peaches for gracing us with your presence. Blessings dear! 🙂
Absolutely stunning flower garden! I'm not a flower person, but need to add more flowers in years to follow to attract those pollinators. Last year, we were manually pollinating our squash plants due to the lack of pollinators.
Lol love the big orange country flower choice
thanks! can you do a follow up for the seed collection and storage at the end of the season?
My sunflowers are not blooming yet. But my cosmos reseeded themselves and are looking beautiful!!!
Worked 🙂
Been watching and learning from you, here in northern Louisiana. My question is – how is your flower bed facing? Many times over the years with trial and error, I've learned what amount of sun our garden and plaints need; but I continue to have set backs. Would love to try your 3 top favourite flowers, if you could inform me if sun direction, and watering these? Thanks so much, I've learned many things at 53, from you, and they haven't failed me yet.
Love the design AND the species choice! I'm growing native pollinator friendly shrubs! I have a couple of species I bet would do wonderfully on your mountaintop!
That’s a great combination! I have lots of success with borage, rosemary and cosmos. Bees just adore them!
