Try some ground cherries. i stumbled on them this season and stoked about the vitamins they contain.
Chris, hard to take you seriously anymore, I remember when you were down around 10k subs and had a mission, now you've gone to seed and just go for the easy money off the wannabes who'll never carry out your earlier mission.
Great Job!
Nice looking garden.
Beautiful Garden!
Thumbs up for the lovage, don't forget it's the primary runners u want off the strawberries for maximum yield
What do you plan on doing with your strawberry patch for the winter? Are you cutting the green out or just mulching over?
So beautiful …I wish I could be in the sun
i know of a guy that grows them, and they use the white lime stone. u could just add some on top around the base..
for the hascap
HASKAP It stops growing after it bears fruit. Watched many lectures from some guy from the University of Saskatuwa. However you spell it.
That compost looks so good! I'll have to go through your other videos to see how you are doing your compost. My horse manure is "ok" but not like your stuff!
Hi there,
Could you please tell me the recipe for your soil that the key lime is planted in? Thank you!
Beth
Curtis any advice of growing broccoli in a temperate environment? I live in southern Maine and I have a difficult time growing this as it goes from cold to very hot in the spring time these days and I never seem to get any decent heads of broccoli.
Curtis when you have fine salad greens and you harvest them, how can you tell if there are weeds in there as well? Call me paranoid, but I would imagine eating weeds would make a person sick.
Big change to the front yard over a couple of years. Why did you go the route of less production garden to the raised beds more spread out? Very peaceful, The fence provides nice separation.
"Wall of Green" next year, aren't you worried about shading out the rest???
Do you have Japanese Beetles up in your area? I am kind of doubting it because your grape plants would be munched on for sure. Also your green beans would be eaten on as well.
I love growing pumpkins it is a staple and I have learned a lot about gardening through growing pumpkins. It looks like you got some powdery mildew setting on some of your pumpkin leaves.
Wow Curtis, what an amazing garden you have created! Very inspiring. There is something powerful that comes with getting your hands in the soil and becoming one with it, planting seed, nurturing the plants and then consuming the bounty you created.
dislike for the lead poisoning for the daughter
To say that I am jealous of your garden is an understatement.
Question, do you need to have a licence, permit or anything of that nature to grow and sell microgreens, or can you simply just grow and sell microgreens ? I live in Los Angeles California and I would love to get into this.
Thanks
I haven't heard you tell the folks how you plan to fertilize your family berry bushes next year. Because of the pea gravel, I am guessing you will inoculate with compost tea or extract. Would you like to tell the audience the difference between the two? I already know and can share my knowledge but others may find it helpful if you made a video on the subject.
WOW. You really did a lot of work on your front yard. I just bought a home in Phoenix and will be moving in the next year or so from Chicago and have a similar front yard task ahead of me. Looks awesome. Inspiring.
I think you removed your original video of the sizes and what size about how you made the beds…..what size are they? Can't seem to find them anywhere
Haha you smell
