  1. I I just got 10 strings of Rosemary from my friend so I got a pot with some soil & wet the soil first & then put the Rosemary directly inside lets see 4-6 weeks if the roots started growing or not? Thanks a lot for your great lessons

  2. Enjoyed this vid…placed in new playlist, PROPAGATING PLANTS. I love Rosemary for taste, smell, look, feel, landscaping, and permeating oil. My fav is scrambled eggs with cheese with copious amounts of Rosemare n Chives, and Rosemary Chicken.
Place deboned, skinless chicken in casserole dish. Completely cover with Chicken broth. Lay several Rosemary stems with needles attached into and around the chicken making sure its covered by the broth. Add salt n pepper to taste. Cover then Bake in medium heat oven (375) for at least an hour (longer if needed).

  3. dont need to do half of your steps, cut tip growth, strip it and stick it directly into soil, i have over 100 that i cut and jab in the ground all take if you keep them moist.

  4. Well, I just did 4…in so doing I realized your vid isn't clear about how much to scrape off…all the green leaving just the inner tan part, or just the outer layer leaving the green underneath in tact. Which is best? Where do you put the new cuttings, full sun or part shade, etc?

  5. Great video. Love growing rosemary just want more. Am I right thst rosemary doesn't like to be watered too much ?

My question.. after cuttings and putting into earth. How often do I water them?
    Thanks much appreciated

  6. Leaves make a great tea to drink or pour over hair in shower! In zone 5 New England, my rosemary doesn’t flower, nor live very long, so rooting cuttings is the way to go.

  7. My friend pulled up 6 huge plants , bare rooted them and gave them to me. I’ve planted them and am keeping them well watered. Will they make it or am I wasting my time?

  8. Where are you located? I ask because I don't think rosemary becomes a bush in North Central Idaho. I am struggling to get rosemary to actually grow past the little pots.
