Jess, You and Miah may never see this response to a vlog from 3 years ago, but Miah so reminds me of my Chapter 2 Timber Man. My Man has a similar large scar from MRSA when he was in his thirties. He was still falling timber back then and got it from a splinter. Almost took his leg and his life. It also changed his life. A couple of factors drove a change in careers but his heart will forever be in the woods and the work ethic that was required to survive there. Now he is just putting in the time till he retires and that breaks my heart for him. I am slowly trying to create/build something that might afford him to be free of the heartless drudgery of punching a clock. Ya'll are an encouragement to me and likely many others for we are all journeying a broken path. Thank you for this.
None of us know or understand all of life’s questions or what Gods plans are for us.
Wow! Thank you for that! God bless you both! Hugs
To creatively build your way out of stress and disappointment is so admirable. Even though Miah wasn’t able to complete his physical run with the Marines, he is fulfilling his practical and spiritual duties. He is a needed reminder of true Americana and Christianity. Jes too! Love your channel. (And love that you don’t turn this into drama about yourselves. Rather, your genuine life challenges quietly and wisely inform your actions today. We need to get back to that selfless modesty and away from narcissistic victimhood.)
Thank you for sharing Miah with the rest of us. Beautiful lego Star Trek Ships. When u speak from the heart God shines.
Hello miah , and Jess , I love your videos , and don’t usually make comments , but I was moved by miahs heartfelt expressions about the loss of his son , and the fact you never got answers to your questions . I have learned the answers to those important questions so feel impelled to share them with you . Iam a Bible student and you expressed great faith in God , I will share with you the scriptures you can look up in your own bible .
First of all our loving God wants us to be comforted from the Bible , he wrote it so we could get answers to the many questions we have , and when he sent his son to the earth , the things he said and did gives us proof of what God will do in the near future!
For instance read Isaiah 25:8 he will swallow up death forever, death will be done away from , so you might ask what about your son who has already passed away , he will get a resurrection back to the earth back into your arms and you will raise him , remember all the resurrections Jesus did , that was to teach us to believe that we all will be resurrected in the future ,revelation 21:4 , and we will live here on earth but under righteous conditions under Christ rulership psalm 37:29 , . So why do we die, because Adam and Eve sinned and death came to us because he was no longer perfect and now would die , just like God said he would ,if he disobeyed! If he had stayed faithful we would all be living forever ,
But you know Jesus gave his life to give us all back the chance to live forever again , if we exercise faith in him , if you like more info , let me know , and I will send it to you , it’s all bible based . I hope this brings you some comfort , and hope to see your dear boy again !
Thanks for sharing Miah, a lot of solid insight and faith in action. Yes, To God be the Glory.
My favourite post in ages! Much love from Australia :))
Me and my fiance had 27 weeker twins in January and we are so lucky that the smaller baby will be coming home just after her 6 month birthday to join her sister at home
It's those trials that give us character, He's a keeper Jessica! God has blessed you kids in many ways. I think your biggest blessing, besides each other is the beautiful children you have!
My Dad was also Marine Corps, wounded in his leg on Iwo Jima. I can’t tell you how much you resemble him, physically and in the personality that comes across. Listening to you took me back to him. You seem to be a great guy, Miah, all prayers and best wishes to your sweet family. Jess is a lucky woman. Take care both of you!
Semper fi, brother. You're still a Marine and always will be. My four years were not what I expected and yet I look back and love the way the military helped me grow.
Nerds are the best people! Thank you for sharing your testimony. I share your trait of using humor to deal with heavy situations. Sometimes awkwardly.
♥️
Thank you Jeremiah for your service, for sharing about Christian, and for being an honorable husband and father. My husband (his name is Jeremiah) is a lot like you and is medically retired from the army. He likes his same tshirts and never misses an opportunity to make me smile. I know Jess is blessed if I see qualities of my husband in you. I found this channel about a month ago and have been catching up on your videos. I wish you continued success in South Carolina. I know it is stressful to move and get everything in order but just know there are people you have never met praying for you all. Love your videos! God bless.
